39 Days of Mercy: Day 32 – Righteous Judgement

Destroying the Works of the Enemy

One way we can pray is to go into the heavenly courts for a judgment, and to use the Lord’s righteous Judgement/Verdict to administer His Justice in the earth. As we attune our ear to the Lord, He instructs us what to pray that will put an axe to the root of the culture of death and abortion in our nation. The Lord has a way of bringing issues to the surface as we draw near.

The Unshaken Kingdom

We prepare our case in tune with the Holy Spirit and come boldly and confidently, but also humble ourselves and use proper courtroom protocols. We are told:

“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,

to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven,
and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of
the righteous made perfect,
and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled Blood,
which speaks better than
the blood of Abel.
~
Hebrews 12:22-24 NASB

The Courts of Heaven

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering
and into His courts with praise! Be thankful
and say so to Him,
bless
and affectionately praise His Name!”
~ Psalm 100:4 AMP

We are to honour the court – Our Father is the righteous judge and King Jesus is our lawyer (advocate – pleading our case before the Father). We have come

“… to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance] ~ Hebrews 12:24

The books of our case are opened by true worship and tears of intercession.

I, even I, am He Who blots out and cancels your transgressions,
for My own sake, and I will not remember your sins.
Put Me in remembrance [remind Me of your merits];
let us plead
and argue together.
Set forth your case, that you may be justified (proved right).”
~ Isaiah 43:25-26

Presenting our case is about stating a case that grants God the legal right, as Judge, to make a righteous judgement on our behalf (God will not violate His Word in making judgements). We are to remind God of the destinies and purposes (especially of the unborn and the aborted) that have been or would be stolen by the enemy, and of our nation being righteous and humbly relying on God.

Silencing the accuser

The “accuser of the brethren” Rev 12:10 (whether we are aware of it or not) speaks in the courts why we are disqualified from receiving our requests. He will speak of our personal sins, the sin of our bloodline, words spoken against us or by us, even spoken by other Christians or family members. These things give the enemy the legal right to withhold our prayer requests from coming to pass.

We are to confess our sin and the sin of previous generations. We are to forgive those who have sinned against us in word or deed – ask the Holy Spirit to help in this in order to do a complete work; take time to do this. As we repent on behalf of ourselves, our nation, or others, we may need to repent on behalf of our nation for many things that are going on, or have gone on in secret — for being a nation who have been idolatrous, sexually immoral, and not valued but destroyed precious life. The Holy Spirit may even reveal other atrocities that have opened up in the region, that are part of the door to abortion in that region.

We then ask for the blood of Jesus to cleanse all the sin. As we do this, the accuser’s voice is silenced before the Judge, and it sets in place all the witnesses on our behalf to speak, especially the Blood of Jesus (see Hebrews 12). We are also to speak reminding of the injustice of the destinies and purposes (especially of the unborn and the aborted) that have been stolen by the enemy.

The Righteous Judgement of the Judge of All

Next, we ask the Father to make a just verdict based upon the case that we have presented and the authority of His Word, and the stolen destinies of the unborn or aborted. Then wait to hear the judgement – and make that decree. This is a decree/verdict (meaning legally enforceable) from God, and must be obeyed by the enemy. We only speak to the adversary once we have a legal judgement in place.

Ask God for the strategy to enforce the righteous verdict and listen for His response – either declarations of His Word are powerful and activating the hosts of Heaven through praying in the Spirit. As His Ekklesia, we are decreeing blessing into the situation, commanding in Jesus’ name that circumstances change and line up with God’s will or actions we are to take, or both.

Prayer: Father in Heaven, may Your Kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, tune Your people into what we need to hear say and pray in these days. Lord awaken your people to righteousness and equip us to bring justice for the unborn and those who are in anyway involved in the giant of abortion in Australia. Let the faithful prayers be powerful and effective to slay that giant to bring you glory and the reward of your suffering. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer for the elected Members of Parliament:
Father, we pray for MLC Hon Emily Sarah Bourke, member of the Labor Party. We give thanks for Emily’s brave stand in the prostitution decriminalisation debate. We ask that You would reveal to her that each life lost in abortion is valuable, and empower her to be brave once again to vote No to abortion to birth.
We pray for MLC Hon John Andrew Darley, an Independent member. We pray that John would have any scales, that are preventing him from seeing the truth, supernaturally removed. May the revelation of the truth move John to defend life, and vote against abortion to birth.

Worship:

Prayer Points:

  • Lord, You are the only righteous Judge, and we look to You to bring justice and mercy into this tragic situation in Australia, where we have opened the door to killing our unborn. May the Nation come into a powerful spirit of repentance, where we truly value all life and protect and provide for those who are vulnerable: mothers, fathers and babies.

  • Lord, we pray for all students and young people: cause them to have a revelation of the truth of the humanity of the unborn, and the truth that our right to life is not subjective. Give them courage to speak out Your truth, Lord.

  • Lord, we uphold the South Australian members of parliament, and ask for You to move in the hearts of those who have been deceived; we pray for hearts of stone to be replaced with hearts of flesh. Open their ears to hear the truth, and be moved to completely reject the “Abortion Reform Bill”.

  • May we hear Your voice and see what You are doing Lord, and be radically obedient to pray and take action with the grace You give us.

Spend time today listening to the Lord, and pray what is on His Heart.

His mercy endures forever!

Today we stand together as one in prayer and fasting for grace to:

  • STOP the Greens Abortion Reform Bill from being passed in South Australia’s Parliament.
  • Bring radical amendments to the existing Abortion Law in favour of life for the unborn and safeguards for mothers.
  • Push Back and eventually STOP Abortion in every state and territory in Australia.
  • SHIFT the culture of this Nation to the Kingdom of Heaven with Mercy, Peace, Righteousness and Justice on earth as it is in Heaven.

WALK FOR LIFE — URGENT UPDATE! START LOCATION CHANGE
After an unexpected consultation with SAPOL and Adelaide City Council, including the Horticultural Manager, it was decided that to cater for expected larger numbers to this event,
the Walk for Life will need to commence at a different location.
The Walk for Life will now start at Pennington Gardens, King William Rd,
opposite St Peter’s Cathedral (north-eastern side of Adelaide Oval).

The Walk will then proceed south down King William Rd to Parliament House.
The length of the walk is roughly the same.
