Our heavenly Father has given us all we need. We are reminded by the Apostle Paul that we are not fighting against human beings, but our enemy is powerful and evil, operating in the spiritual realm. We are instructed to apply the spiritual protection we have been given, and to be aware of what is happening in heavenly places that affect life on earth.

We are in a battle that is not against people; it is clearly a spiritual battle.

The very act of abortion empowers darkness – the act of agreement to abort the child opens an agreement with death and destruction that may go on for generations. This opens the parents up to suicidal ideation, depression, acting-out behaviours, or dissociation, leading to further abortions, destructive relationships, and shutting down the love and joy of life, or even sickness and death.

We must not underestimate there are high levels of witchcraft and occultic activity that are operating using the agreement of deceived people to get abortion bills passed, being empowered by the nation killing her unborn. Behind it all are these evil powers.

Only when the Ekklesia operate as one in Christ and come into agreement with the righteous judgements of Heaven will we see the fulfilment of Jesus’ words: That the gates of hell will not prevail against His Ekklesia.

And I tell you, you are Peter [Greek, Petros—a large piece of rock], and on this rock [Greek, petra—a huge rock like Gibraltar] I will build My church, [Ekklesia], and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].

Spiritual Warfare

The Apostle Paul teaches us important truths to apply.

“Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you.

Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God.

Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all His believers. And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel. Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of God’s kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador.”

In Ephesians 6:12, the classical Greek word used here, ‘a powerful class of demon gods’, is often used to refer to conjuring up pagan deities—supreme powers of darkness mentioned in occult rituals. These things are not to be tackled alone or without direct leading, strategy and timing from the Lord.

He wants us to be hidden in Him and under the shadow of His wings all the time (Psalm 91). He has called and equipped specific people for specific callings, and honed these ones in the fire so they have come forth humbled and knowing their place and function only according to His word.

Too many people have become casualties of foolish high-level warfare; they step out beyond their jurisdiction (calling and God-given position), only to be beaten up and worse. We need wisdom and the fear of the Lord — worship Him only, and you will destroy the works of the enemy as He reveals to each one of us our part.

Worship:

 

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your mercy; thank You that we can be safely hidden in You as we are equipped to win the battles against the enemy. Lord, You said You will build Your church, and we thank You for these days of awakening to who we are in Christ, and who we carry in us; thank You, powerful indwelling Holy Spirit. Lord, we ask for wisdom and grace to help us again today; may we intercede strategically according to Your word. Lord, raise up those who have been mandated by You for high-level warfare, and give them others to stand with in the battles they engage. Lord, raise up those who are equipped to go into the courts of heaven and present our case, to receive Your righteous judgements to administrate Your justice and righteousness for the unborn. May we each do what the Father is doing, and by faith bear much fruit that lasts in the battle for the unborn in our Nation, and especially in South Australia at this time. In Jesus’ Precious Name, Amen.

Prayer for the elected Members of Parliament:
Today we pray for MLC Hon Andrew Lockhart McLachlan, member of the Liberal Party. We thank God for Andrew’s term as president of the Upper House, and pray that he will have wisdom in guiding the debates on the abortion-to-birth proposal. Pray that if he succeeds in his bid to take the Senate spot vacated by Corey Bernardi, that he would stand firm in the Senate for life issues and that the member who replaces him in the Legislative Council will uphold the cause of life.
Today we pray for MLC Hon Tung Ngo, member of the Australian Labor Party. We thank God for Tung’s clear position in relation to life issues, and pray that he will influence many to vote against the proposals, and will stir up his community to oppose the proposals.

Prayer Points:

• Pray for public servants in the health department who provide advice to the health minister; Parliamentary Counsel who will draft the bill for consideration by parliament; the staff of the Attorney-General (Vickie Chapman) and Health Minister (Stephen Wade).
• Lift up to the Lord the Attorney-General Vickie Chapman and MLC Hon Stephen Wade. Please pray that they, and all those involved in the bill, will be especially blessed with overwhelming gifts of God’s wisdom and courage to protect the unborn and the second victims of abortion, women – so much so that it will be noticed and remarked upon.

• Ask the Lord to shut down the SA Abortion Reform Bill that has the potential to:

1. Completely deregulate abortion up to birth;
2. Allow abortion for any reason with no doctor’s approval required;
3. Allow abortion to be carried out by others than doctors;
4. Allow late-term abortion of viable babies;
5. Allow sex-selection abortions;
6. Allow babies born alive (due to failed abortions) to be left to die;
7. Allow self-administration of high complication risk abortion medication;
8. Provide no sanctions for breaches (outside criminal law, it becomes a health issue);
9. Provide mere box-ticking in counselling provisions;
10. Entrench the view that life is disposable.

• Unity and a flow of the Holy Spirit leading thousands to walk for life on Saturday.

Spend time today listening to the Lord, and pray what is on His Heart.

His mercy endures forever!

Today we stand together as one in prayer and fasting for grace to:

• STOP the Greens Abortion Reform Bill from being passed in South Australia’s Parliament.
• Bring radical amendments to the existing Abortion Law in favour of life for the unborn and safeguards for mothers.
• Push Back and eventually STOP Abortion in every state and territory in Australia.
• SHIFT the culture of this Nation to the Kingdom of Heaven with Mercy, Peace, Righteousness and Justice on earth as it is in Heaven.

[Walk for Life]

WALK FOR LIFE — URGENT UPDATE! START LOCATION CHANGE
After an unexpected consultation with SAPOL and Adelaide City Council, including the Horticultural Manager, it was decided that to cater for expected larger numbers to this event,
the Walk for Life will need to commence at a different location.
The Walk for Life will now start at Pennington Gardens, King William Rd,
opposite St Peter’s Cathedral (north-eastern side of Adelaide Oval).
The Walk will then proceed south down King William Rd to Parliament House.
The length of the walk is roughly the same.
