39 Days of Mercy: Day 38 – Jubilee
Extreme Grace
There is always a perfect consummation of time with our Lord; His ways are higher than our ways. We think one thing… but His thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
Australia has suffered greatly for fifty years as the result of legalized abortion — many have prayed to stop this, and that the ‘shedding of innocent blood gate’ of our nation be closed.
Now we are in the year of Jubilee after 50 years of legalized abortion. It’s time for release and restoration!!!
We have humbled ourselves, confessed our sins and held solemn assemblies. We have repented and we have petitioned and pleaded. We have also prayed from a place of being enthroned in Christ seated with Him, and as His Ekklesia, ruling with Him as kings, interceding with Him as priests.
Jubilee means it is time for freedom from this bondage and pain – it’s time for Australia to be delivered from this evil. The blood gate opened on 4th Dec 1969, when the bill was passed to legalise abortion in this nation. The enactment of legalised abortion began in Adelaide on January 8th 1970.
What can we expect for this Jubilee year?
Mercy!! This fiftieth year is a holy year — a year of consecration, a time to purify our hearts and allow the Lord to shake us, so the dross comes up and is removed, so we can be clean vessels to carry His glory.
We have been fasting and praying to defeat this upcoming abortion bill — to eradicate all abortion in our nation — to stop the bondage of being sold into slavery to the enemy. This bondage happened through our nation establishing legislation to destroy life in the womb; now it’s time for restoration of the gates of this nation!
We will only realise the fullness of this freedom when we are released – now we proclaim it is Australia’s Year of Jubilee. We call forth our freedom, that Jesus won for us in His victory, through His death on the cross. We pronounce liberty throughout the land! We decree His word and take a stand for all Australia’s inhabitants, born or unborn.
“And you shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his ancestral possession [which through poverty he was compelled to sell], and each of you shall return to his family [from whom he was separated in bond service].”
~ Leviticus 25:10 [Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)]
The liberty proclaimed in this verse is from the root word der-ore’ meaning to move rapidly; freedom; spontaneity of outflow; clear and pure liberty.
We were sold into slavery to the spirit of death, operating because of the curse of abortion; now we can proclaim the year of Jubilee with confidence that the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, has paid the highest price for our redemption and restoration to freedom — for us and our future generations.
Will the City of Churches receive her King?
Tomorrow, Jesus will walk through the city of Adelaide by His Holy Spirit in His body of believers!
Will the people watching recognize their Messiah and hail Him as King, or will they plot to kill Him — crucifying Him again by allowing an abortion up to birth bill to be passed in South Australia’s parliament this year?
Jesus said “let the little children come to me and do not hinder them” (Mark 10:14) … He, the greatest protector and defender of life, especially for those who are powerless to defend themselves. He delegated governments and leaders to serve the people in righteous rule, and to administrate on earth as it is in heaven. (Psalm 82)
Prayer: Lord God, our heavenly Father, today we pray for the city of Adelaide, for her leaders to arise and stop the enemies at the gate. May the government of God, His Ekklesia, administrate justice and righteousness, delivering the oppressed and broken. May the goodness and kindness of God lead many to repentance. May the enemy who comes at us one way flee in seven ways. May the zeal for Your Kingdom be ignited across the Nation to decree this is the year of Your favour, and for freedom from this bondage of abortion, and all the destruction and horror attached to it. Lord, thank You for Your blood as it speaks on our behalf and on behalf of the unborn MERCY — again and again because of Your perfect sacrifice. We position our nation under that blood flowing down from Your mercy seat, and we say thank You for Jubilee! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Worship:
Prayer for the elected Members of Parliament:
Today we pray for MLC Hon Terence John Stephens, member of the Liberal Party. We thank God for Terry’s consistent voting record in relation to such matters, and pray that he will continue to so vote and reject the abortion-to-birth proposals, and lead the Upper House against them.
Today we pray for MLC Hon Russell Paul Wortley, member of the Australian Labor party. We pray for Russell that he will think hard about these proposals and so vote against them.
Prayer Points:
- For heavenly books to be opened and read, giving strategies and blueprints for the administration of our Jubilee.
- That life will be celebrated without condemnation for those who have been ensnared, and that our laws will reflect our Heavenly Father’s heart.
- For the Lord to be glorified in the Walk for Life Adelaide.
- For all the logistics of the walk in Adelaide to run smoothly.
- Safety and protection for all involved.
- Travelling mercies and great health for the guest speakers.
- All witchcraft and schemes of the enemy be confused and thwarted.
- For the Lord to be exalted in everything we are doing and saying.
- Bind all delay and hindrances for people coming to the Walk for Life tomorrow.
- Those who have been running hard to now soar on wings as eagles.
- The US Supreme Court is soon likely to hear a case (possibly on 4th March 2020) which can overturn the edifice of Roe v. Wade, which has for 47 years energized spiritual darkness and set worldwide precedents for the destruction of life of the unborn.
Pray: That the twin inception points of Adelaide and Washington DC will be catalysts for the annulment of the covenants of death, the appointment of righteous judges and the establishment of righteous cities.
“Your covenant with death will be annulled;
your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand.”
~ Isaiah 28:18 (NIV)“I will restore your judges as at the first,
And your counselors as at the beginning.
Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”
~ Isaiah 1:26 (NKJV)
Spend time today listening to the Lord, and pray what is on His Heart.
His mercy endures forever!
Today we stand together as one in prayer and fasting for grace to:
- STOP the Greens Abortion Reform Bill from being passed in South Australia’s Parliament.
- Bring radical amendments to the existing Abortion Law in favour of life for the unborn and safeguards for mothers.
- Push Back and eventually STOP Abortion in every state and territory in Australia.
- SHIFT the culture of this Nation to the Kingdom of Heaven with Mercy, Peace, Righteousness and Justice on earth as it is in Heaven.
