Pro-Life Prayer Day 4: The Armour of God
Now my beloved ones,
I have saved these most important truths for last:
Be supernaturally infused with strength
through your life-union with the Lord Jesus.
Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power
flowing in and through you.
Put on God’s complete set of armour provided for us,
so that you will be protected
as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!
~ Ephesians 6:10-11 TPT
This battle against the death of generations through legalised abortion is fierce and relentless — it requires superhuman effort. Jesus states:
“I will build My church (my Ekklesia, my governing body),
and the gates of Hades (the powers of the infernal region) shall not overpower it [or be strong to its detriment or hold out against it].”
~ Matthew 16:18 AMPC
We have been given keys to bind and loose, and authority in Christ, as in His resurrection we were also “raised up with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” (Eph 2:6 TPT)
Today as we pray, we do so from this place above, taking on His armour, standing victorious, and we watch His explosive power flow through us.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we humbly ask You today to raise up Your Ekklesia, Your legislative assembly of believers. We now pray as one to see the SA Lower House vote against the Health Care (Safe Access) Amendment Bill 2020.
Lord, we ask You to strengthen Your people to be vigilant and relentless in pursuit of turning back all legislation that destroys life in our nation. Give keys and strategy to all who have ears to hear what You are saying. Stir up and awaken those who are sleeping and self-indulgent — especially those who have the power to rescue the unborn. Father, turn the hearts of many people of influence to Your agenda for the unborn.
May we remain in life-union with You, Lord Jesus – being willing, obedient and focused on Your heart’s desire. We pray in the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord, the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Further Information:
Legislation is only needed to solve a problem — the point is, there isn’t a problem, because no-one in SA’s history has ever been convicted of an offence outside an abortion clinic/hospital. Because there is no problem, the proposed legislation (SA’s Health Care (Safe Access) Amendment Bill 2020) seeks to take away the rights and freedoms of people for no reason.
Offenders can already be charged under The Summary Offences Act, that covers disorderly or offensive conduct or language. An offence, in that definition, includes threatening, abusive or insulting language or behaviour.

Prayer Points:
- Miraculous intervention to stop the Health Care (Safe Access) Amendment Bill 2020 (Exclusion Zones Bill)
- We pray, at the very least, that the following Bill Amendments be passed —
- Allowance of silent prayer.
- Written offers of assistance (signage) to persons entering protected premises displayed by a person who is at least 20 metres away from the entrance to protected premises.
- The normal course of day-to-day business, by any business — charity or religious organisation, which was located in a health access zone before the commencement of the Act or a Zone, be allowed to continue to operate.
** On Wednesday, 22 July 2020, the SA Lower House will debate and possibly vote on the Health Care (Safe Access) Amendment Bill 2020.
The Bill will establish 70,000-square-metre zones in at least 12 areas (possibly more) in South Australia, where it will be against the law to communicate about abortion in a way that can be seen and heard by those entering or leaving a place where abortions are carried out.
As it stands, this Bill will:
- ban silent prayer;
- stop those who want to offer pregnancy support to women who do not want to have an abortion, but do so as they feel they have no alternative;
- affect the freedom to communicate publicly about abortion in large areas of SA.
Proposed Amendments (vital to maintain for SA if the Bill were to pass)
Write to MPs asking them to not support the Bill in its current form, and to vote for key amendments such as allowing silent prayer, offers of help, and preserving the rights of organisations which were in zones before they commenced operation.
More details for taking action can be found on the ACL website.
