“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ…” (Ephesians 1:3)

The Mystery of God’s Will

“That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth-in Him…” (Ephesians 1:10)

A Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints…” (Ephesians 1:17-18)

“And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:22)

We Are His Workmanship

God “made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus… For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:6, 10)

“One new man from the two (Jew and Gentile) thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross … For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father…” (Ephesians 2:14-15, 18)

Purpose of the Mystery

“… to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence and faith in Him.” (Ephesians 3:10-12)

Appreciation of the Mystery

“For this reason I bow my knee to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man … to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:14-19)

Walking in Unity

“Keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all , and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:3-4)

Spiritual Gifts

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ…” (Ephesians 4:11-13)

The New Man

“You have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:20)

Walking in Love

“Therefore, be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.” (Ephesians 5:1-2)

Walking in Light

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) … Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.” (Ephesians 5:8, 14)

Walking in Wisdom

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil … give thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God…” (Ephesians 5:15-16, 20-21)

Christ and the Church

“Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her, that he might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that he might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish…”

(Ephesians 5:25-27)

The Whole Armour of God

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places… pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit…” (Ephesians 6:10-18)
