ACTION NEEDED: Write to Federal Health Minister on the Inappropriate Appointment of Jane Halton
The Australian Medical Network has written to the Hon. Mark Butler MP, Australia’s Federal Minister For Health and Aged Care.
The Health Minister has tapped Jane Halton on the shoulder to lead an audit inquiry into Covid-19 vaccine contracts and supply. Despite Ms Halton’s impressive career, she is not the right person to be given such a project. Her conflicts of interest are extensive.
Please read AMN’s letter to MP Mark Butler below and if you feel comfortable, please write to him once you have read the letter and looked further into the vast powers Jane Halton wields.
___
Dear Hon. Mark Butler MP,
Congratulations on your appointment as Federal Minister for Health and Aged Care
Last week you nominated Jane Halton to lead the inquiry into Covid-19 vaccine contracts and supply. Appointing Ms Halton to this role would be an inappropriate selection because her recommendations would be heavily biased. Appointing Ms Halton would also further destroy any trust Australians have in the government. The reasons for this are as follows.
- While Ms Halton’s 30-year political CV is impressive, she has extensive conflicts of interest that do not align with the interests of the public and Australian public health and wellness outcomes.
- Being the Chair of CEPI, Ms Halton has a personal financial interest in carrying out an audit and will undoubtedly recommend the continuation, entrenchment and increase in current vaccine contracts. Because of her relationships and political power, she will justify vaccines as the only approach to dealing with SARS-CoV-2. Please note, CEPI is alleged to have funded $388 million to Covid-19 vaccine manufacturer Novavax. As the rest of the world moves into a post-Covid era and variants are now substantially weakened, Ms Halton’s interests would only prolong economic recovery and inflation, thwart other safe and proven treatment innovations and add unnecessary costs to the government and taxpayers.
- Ms Halton also benefits from the close ties she has with the WHO and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where she has served as chair for both organisations.
- Ms Halton represented Australia as a player at Event 201 in October 2019. Event 201 was a pandemic simulation organised by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WEF and John Hopkins University. Ms Halton is on record about how to use forceful tactics to ensure individuals get vaccinated and comply. There was no discussion about informed consent or treatment choices. Coincidentally, only a few months later SARS-CoV-2 plunged the world into crisis.
- Jane Halton is married to Trevor Sutton, a senior ranking ABS Deputy Statistician who happens to also be the brother of Victoria’s CHO, Brett Sutton.
- Trevor Sutton sits on the advisory committee of the Institute for Health Metrics & Evaluation (IHME). The IHME has a history of receiving funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
- In 2016, the ABS’s data collection and survey systems was awarded to Accenture who is in direct partnership with Gates’ ID2020 project and GAVI (another global vaccine alliance).
- Ms Halton is a Director of Crown Resorts, which was the Covid-19 quarantine facility in Victoria.
Ms Halton’s conflicts of interest represents a direct danger to every Australian. We must follow the open-mindedness of other nations and invest in a multi-pronged approach to treating Covid-19 and any future pandemic. The government is making a grave mistake to hand over such power to Ms Halton considering her vast financial and political interests.
To only focus on vaccine contracts with multi-national pharmaceutical companies is myopic and incomprehensible. There is an undeniable duty of care to treat high risk patients from the very beginning of contracting Covid. The treatment of Covid must now be relinquished to a community standard of care. Doctors, health professionals and the community have been successful in using a variety of effective drugs and nutraceutical combinations, both reducing hospitalisations and deaths by 95%.
All current hospitalisations and deaths are the by-product of failing to receive safe early treatment. For future pandemics, it will be vital to immediately establish an outpatient early treatment committee, whose sole objective will be to reduce hospitalisations and deaths.
The Right Person For This Role
- Not Jane Halton
- Two leads should be appointed to deliver this project.
-
- A non-careerist bureaucrat who has no ties with pharmaceutical companies and global/local organisations with financial or political interests in Covid. Be from the private sector (not from a large consulting firm) who has extensive procurement, analytical, strategy, and awareness of all treatments for Covid 19
- The second candidate lead must be a private sector medical practitioner or medical scientist with extensive experience in all forms of Covid treatment and vaccine therapies.
- Both leads must be independent
- Neither of them is to be married or in a relationship with another bureaucrat/public servant, government minister/politician (state or federal), person employed or represents a global organisation funding or manufacturing vaccinations or large consulting company.
- Any additional team members engaged to support in the delivery of this project must meet the above criteria also.
- They must report only to the Minister of Health and be protected against any potential sabotage.
- Should you have any challenges finding such people, we can help.
Appointing Ms Halton to this role will be a horrendous mistake and will indicate to Australians that the government does not hold the interest of the public front and centre. During the recent election, the Labour government said they would do things differently: here is your chance.
With so many alternative treatment innovations available, why is the government only focusing on one approach and appointing people with undeniable conflicts of interest? There are many exceptional professionals capable of delivering this project in an unbiased manner and they will be free from any future scrutiny and conflicts of interest.
Minister, may your portfolio and term bring you good health, personal fulfillment and career success.

Her appointment is frightening. As an unvaccinated person in her 70’s I can see jail times and enforced vaccinations. People die as a result of these vaccines. She will never admit to that.
Thank you for your work in assisting with my education and that of any Australian who is willing to pass through the fear and stand with truth. May God continue to bless you and those you love.
