Women Make Up Half the NSW State Ministry
… and guess who’s orbiting the moon?
Newly minted NSW Premier Chris Minns has wasted no time parading his identity politic credentials.
Unveiling his new ministry, the ALP leader tweeted…
For the first time in our state’s history, 50% of Ministers will be women – our government looks like our state, just like it should.
— Chris Minns (@ChrisMinnsMP) April 3, 2023
Of course, in 2023 we need to ask whether Premier Minns is referring to “old fashioned” women, or whether he means the new anyone who “identifies as a woman” women?
Assuming Minns means women without penises, are we really going to play these games?
If the NSW cabinet should look just like the population, why are 15% of government ministers not Anglican?
And why are 18% not disabled?
If the people around the cabinet table should look just like the people around our state, is Minns promising to ensure that 40% of them have never travelled abroad?
Is the racial makeup also a match? I hope so.
What about diverse sexual proclivities and gender identities? Are they suitably recognised around the decision-making table?
Why no aromantic Indigenous person with a disability who has recently converted to Islam? Are you erasing them?
Our nation is in dire straits, economically and socially. We need the best people available, not the most fitting tokens.
But since Premier Minns is so committed to women, we might as well ask if he is prepared to guarantee that gender self-identifying laws will not be introduced in NSW.
Will he resist the cult like urge to say that trans women are women?
Or is his commitment to womanhood the same as Caitlyn Jenner’s – it’s a good look.
(We are living through a surreal time in history, when politicians want everyone to know how supportive they are of women while – at the exact same time – allowing women to be usurped by men who identify as women)
Regardless, voters don’t want quotas. We want meritorious appointment, regardless of a person’s identity markers.
This continual pushing of identity politics is as pathetic as it is wearisome.
And if you doubt that people are weary of it, have a look at this tweet from NASA…
The diversity of our NASA team is what brings different perspectives to our missions, and we celebrate and share their stories. To protect our people from personal attacks, we have decided to limit comments on these posts.
— NASA Universe (@NASAUniverse) March 28, 2023
What’s remarkable about this is that NASA have 914,600 followers on their Twitter account. And this tweet – celebrating their commitment to “diversity” and bringing “different perspectives to our missions” – attracted just 40 likes!
Even more remarkable is that they knew when they posted the tweet that people would roll their eyes at it, so they turned off the comments.
All of which begs the question, if government agencies know full well that the general populace is well and truly sick of this diversity, equity and inclusion cult, why do they keep pushing it?
Honestly, just put a man (or woman – we don’t care) on the stinking moon.
If you still can.
Less than a week after their diversity tweet, NASA unveiled its crew for the first human mission to the moon in more than 50 years.
And yep, the big news was… entirely predictable. The mission would include “the first woman and black man to voyage into outer space”.
The headline in The Australian newspaper announced:
“First woman and black man to join mission to obrit the moon.”
We’re so inclusive, we’re shooting women and people of colour into outer space now!
The most important part of the mission is… the woke part.
It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that if the ‘right stuff’ depends on your skin colour – or sex – we’re focusing exactly on the wrong stuff.
Or maybe it does.
But you know the worst part? The moon was where I had planned to escape to in order to avoid all this nonsense. Where do I go now?

James, please explain. I am so confused, I thought the woke left can not tell the difference between men and women now, so why are they being so divisive as to label people one or the other and seek to discriminate who gets to jump over the moon based on their gender?
PS I hope you allow this comment.

Good thing you are both men and I don’t have to worry about being politically correct…..
