Day 10: Crying Out for the Nation and Nations
Intention
To cry out, in the lead up to the momentous World Prayer Assembly, that the blood of the Lamb will be a tsunami to cover our nation and the nations.
Scripture
“For we walk by faith and not by sight”.
– 2 Corinthians 5:7
“It is written: ‘I believed; therefore, I have spoken. Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore we speak’.”
– 2 Corinthians 4:13
Reflection
Our own nation, the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit, has had many prophetic words spoken over her. It’s time for them to be manifested! Already our nation is blessed. Our Constitution is built on biblical truth. It’s time to build on that foundation!
We are in a season of birthing and travailing. We are to cry out for our nation and the nations of the earth. Do we love our nation enough? Moses and Aaron cried out for Israel, when God was about to wipe out the nation of Israel for their doubt and unbelief (Num 14:17–21).
Moses, in faith, said ‘God you can’t do that. You promised to bring Your people into the Land. You are longsuffering and merciful, forgiving the people’s iniquity.’ Moses reminded God of what He had spoken in Exodus 34. God said, “I have pardoned according to your word. All the earth shall be filled with My Glory” (Num 14:21).
We are coming together for the momentous World Prayer Assembly in Perth, Western Australia 3–6 October 2023 to cry out for our nation and the nations. This is a historic moment as we stand in the gap in intercessory prayer. God hasn’t shortened His arm. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
We are a faith people, His sons and daughters and God is waiting for His Church to stand together in unity, in one accord, to bring heaven to earth, for it is our inheritance to usher salvation to our nations. As Habakkuk prophesied,
“All the earth shall be filled with My Glory as the waters cover the sea.” (Hab 2:14)
I see the nation covered in the blood of Jesus, bringing salvation to the nations.
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption for all mankind.” (Heb 9:12)
Jesus died for the whole world. His heart is for all mankind to be saved.
It’s time for His Church to be a ‘Voice of Victory’, to pray and pull down the blindness from over people’s minds and eyes, so they can receive the light of the glorious gospel.
Let’s believe together, that His Wave of Glory, just like a tsunami, covers our nation and the nations of the earth.
Our Father is a merciful God. As we honour His Word, we shall see the glory of the Lord cover our nation and the nations.

Prayer
We thank you Father for the blood of Jesus over our nation and nations. Holy Spirit, we give You thanks that You bring the people of our nation under conviction through the prayers of the saints.
We thank you Father that as Your Church comes together in unity at the World Prayer Assembly, that the reverential fear of God will be upon Her, to bring forth a mighty harvest.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
