Day 18: Joyfully Carrying the Glory of God
Join us on Zoom for 72 hours of 24/7 prayer and worship for an awakening
8PM Thursday 14 September – 9PM Sunday 17 September
Intention
To make a prophetic declaration of God’s glory through prayer and worship.
Scripture
“Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing: ‘Glory to the Righteous One’.”
– Isaiah 24:15–16
Reflection
The biblical definition of the word ‘glory’ is threefold:
- Brightness or splendour.
- Great power and strength.
- Majesty and honour.
All three components together comprise the meaning of the word ‘glory.’ However, in any particular use of the word ‘glory’, there is likely to be one of these components which is more in focus than the others.
I believe that we are now entering, living and serving God in the glory days as we move towards the return of Christ. We have no time to waste but to arise with boldness and humility and surrender ourselves to God to permeate our lives with His glory on Earth.
Isaiah 60:1–2 challenges us to “arise and shine”. These are commands, not suggestions. They are commands of responsibilities for every privileged child of God’s kingdom. There is so much prayer rising up every day from Australia, Oceania and the Pacific region which prepare and provide a spiritual atmosphere that is now conducive for the dew from Heaven to fall. The light has come and the glory of the LORD has risen up in our communities, cities, nations and regions.
Today the Pacific region is building up like the ‘playground’ for the super and powerful nations of the world. Dreadful things are going on in our world today. Alliances are forming between nations for evil outcomes that will create fear and trembling. These are the backdrops of darkness, gloom and hopelessness that provide great and glorious opportunities for the glory of God to shine through the people of God in the nations of the Pacific, Oceania, New Zealand and Australia.
This glorious assault against the kingdom of darkness with the glory of God must begin from the east, from the islands of the sea and from the ends of the Earth through the weapon of prayer and worship.
It is my faith, hope and prayer that at this World Prayer Assembly, as the nations gather to form this ‘concentrated force’ in desperate prayer and worship, that our Almighty God will release a breakthrough of His glory in our midst. We will joyfully carry the flame of His glory back to our communities, cities and nations.

The first person to take issue with Donald Trump’s insistence that there are only two genders was an Episcopalian priest. Of course. Bishop Marianne Budde used her Washington pulpit, tilted to the left, to berate the President for — of all things — agreeing with Moses.
