You’re Not Meant to Notice
The woke started the culture war but they blame us when we notice their absurd agenda. It’s time to call them out.
Here’s the hard fact about the elites and activists who lost the Voice:
They’re not going to learn a thing.
They simply see the defeat as a speed bump on the way to overhauling our nation and our values and remaking it in their left-wing woke image.
And this past week has shown two perfect examples of it.
First up there was Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s “welcome to country” at the COP28 climate conference in Dubai.
To begin his address he acknowledged the “indigenous people of the world” and then mentioned the “government’s commitment to the inclusion of our First Nations people in our climate change response and clean energy future”.
It was absurd and nonsensical.
And it was a clear example of how actually helping marginalised Indigenous communities is less important than invoking certain words.
It’s all symbolic virtue signalling and it’s lost all meaning.
I’m not sure Bowen even realised how stupid and insincere he sounded, but he’s going to keep waging a culture war in the name of “respecting” Indigenous people while doing nothing.
It’s Your Fault if You Notice!
Then there’s the cancellation of the Australia Day event at Australia House in London.
Without any consultation, UK High Commissioner and former Labor minister Stephen Smith decided it was too sensitive to celebrate our national day.
So he cancelled the popular annual event.
He’s now walked it back a little bit and claimed there’ll still be Australia Day events and it was about cost but the damage is done and the message has been sent:
It’s fine for agenda-driven politicians and leaders to wage a culture war over Australia Day, but you’re not meant to notice.
And that’s what these so-called “progressives” keep trying to do.
They use language and power to remake the world in their own image and then shame you for noticing.
Even having 60 per cent of the country vote against them won’t stop it.
Well, I’ve got news for them: I’m not going to stop fighting either!

Good for you Senator Price And keep it up!!!
Chris Bowen and Pat Conroy are two of the most dangerous politicians in Australia.
Not only are they stupid, they are arrogant and committed to the agendas pushed by the Global elites who are becoming more wealthy by the minute.
Thankyou Senator Price.
Go Jacinta ! Tell it like it is ! Your courage and conviction are inspiring !!
About the self-styled so-called lefty “progressives”, isn’t that really a complete misnomer ?
Over many decades their stance and behaviour don’t seem to have achieved a single thing that is genuinely helpful or beneficial for anyone who doesn’t kowtow to their ideology.
Let’s claim back that word ‘progressive’ and use it for what it really means, and perhaps apply far more appropriate descriptors when referring to the left, such as
AGGRESSIVES … or
DIGRESSIVES … or
REGRESSIVES … or …
Persevere, Jacinta and team, real progress is in your hands :))
Well done Senator Price, keep up the fight, thank you for your article.
Thank you, dear Jacinta for keeping us informed . God bless you !
