Day 9 – Jesus, Wonderful Counsellor
Your beautiful blushing cheeks reveal how real your passion is for me,
even hidden behind your veil of humility. – Song of Songs 6:7 (TPT)
Our cheeks in this scripture speak of our emotions. No one need ever be ashamed of their feelings nor hide them from God. He created every person to be in deep, loving, trusting relationship with Him.
Sadly, we can be taken off-track and be naïve to the ways of the enemy, or rebellious toward God’s ways. In this, we find ourselves ‘naked and ashamed’ because of sin, either of our own doing, or sin that has been done against us. This is often the case for women finding themselves in an unplanned pregnancy.
Frustration and sorrow need to be processed with the Lord. Anger is designed to catapult us into victory against the enemy and stir righteousness inside of us.
The Lord is near to everyone, and He wants us to learn to give Him our pain, fear, and unforgiveness. We can always be true to what we feel, and not ignore or bury what is going on inside of us. He is the best counsellor. How beautiful and honouring it is to the Lord when we take all that we feel to Him.
When the Ekklesia of Jesus is operating in such freedom (allowing the healing of our souls), it is empowerment from Heaven for Jesus to move through us to assist others to take what they are feeling and talk it through with Him in prayer — to both speak and listen.
As the saints step into this maturity, darkness is overcome, and people are freed to know, love and serve Jesus! An outworking of such maturity is the formation of Houses of Refuge and Hubs of Love — where babies are safe and welcomed, and mothers and families are established.
Worship:
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You have created us with so many emotions. Sometimes, they want to try to steal our attention away from You; instead, help us to embrace each emotion and bring it to You. Let each of our feelings propel us closer to You.
Purify any tainted mindset. Unlock our hearts, so we do not bury or ignore our feelings. Enable us to find the freedom and release for our souls. Let us be mature sons/daughters who can carry this same freedom to those around us and influence others to find freedom and strength in You.
Lord, awaken Your people to trust when our hearts are overwhelmed by the tragedy of abortion and other trials that we face. Lord, fill us with Your compassion and mercy to be moved in the empowering love You have, to discern those around us trapped in places of emotional captivity.
Free us so we can be agents of freedom, through prayer and action, for the broken and isolated ones to whom You send us. Awaken the Ekklesia to become effective Houses of Refuge for the masses You want to bring to salvation. Thank You for “building Your Church/Ekklesia that the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!” (Matthew 16:18)
Compassionate Saviour, move our hearts for what moves Yours. Give us a greater compassion for the lost and the hurting. Help us to see people through Your eyes and to love them unconditionally. Stir within us a burden for those who do not know You, that we may boldly share the Gospel and lead them to salvation. Use us as instruments of Your grace and mercy, that many may come to know You and experience Your love. (Matthew 9:36; Romans 10:14-15)
In Your precious Name, Yeshua, Amen.
Prayer Points:
- It is crucial for Australians to stand united and shout out for the Babies Born Alive through failed abortion to be given life-saving treatment and care and not left to die. Pray for the Senate to vote for the Babies Born Alive Bill. Senator Matt Canavan, Senator Ralph Babet and Senator Alex Antic have co-signed a bill to give babies born alive from abortion a right to life. No More Delay! Let this become a loud election issue for this government. Hear firsthand a midwife’s grief and a Born Alive after a failed abortion story.
- Pray the Love Adelaide — Walk for Life 2024 on Feb 10th from 10am-12pm will grow in momentum to double last year — that nothing will hinder the church standing against legalised abortion, to add their strength and support to end the abortion crisis in our nation and beyond. Pray for health for everyone, especially the overseas guest speaker, doors of favour to open, more volunteers for the walk and the weather to be favourable.
- We pray for every state and territory of Australia to recognise that every life is a gift from God — for the church to arise in the cause of defending life in the womb from the horror of abortion and come together to stand for life. For greater numbers to be in attendance at the “Walk for Life Adelaide” on 10 February 2024 and “March for Life” Brisbane — date TBA, Mackay “March for the Babies” October, “March for the Babies” Melbourne, Love Sydney Walk for Life — date TBA, Perth’s rally for Life in May, and for all Territories and States to join in and hold a Walk for Life in their city/region.
- Even though every state in Australia has changed Legislation to allow abortion up to birth, we can all work together to change such legislation. It’s all about numbers — Pray that we unify and work together to make abortion unthinkable in Australia. Pray for the number of awakened righteous politicians and leaders in every sphere of influence to increase, and be empowered and emboldened to change the laws and influence this generation with the truth about abortion.
- Ask for many more churches across the nation to be aware of the women in their midst who are suffering through having had an abortion. To have spiritual discernment to identify women with a crisis pregnancy who need the help, hope and love of Jesus to keep the baby or choose adoption into a loving home. That every church be a trusted place of mercy and compassion to be known and operating as Houses of Refuge for the unborn and families. For Hubs of Love to be established in every city and town in the nation.
‘And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.’
~ Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
May God Bless you as you pray these 21 Days of Compassion and Mercy for the Unborn.

We need to talk about the situation in Tasmania and how we desperately need prayer. We don't talk about social atomisation, do we? Most of us would be hard pressed to define it. Yet it is reshaping our society in ways we barely acknowledge — fragmenting our communities, eroding our connections, and leaving us isolated in the midst of billions.

In countries with voluntary organ donation systems, patients wait months or years for a transplant. In China, hospitals guarantee matching organs within weeks. That statistical impossibility reveals a horrifying truth: China operates an industrial-scale organ harvesting operation — with the tacit complicity of the Western world.
