Mountain

Day 14: Remove the Mountain

14 May 2024

3.3 MINS

Intention

To stand in the authority Jesus gave us to move mountains.

Scripture

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

– Matthew 17:20

Reflection

The past four weeks have been very difficult for my son, Noah. Things looked and felt so hard and dim. As a family, we prayed day in and day out during this time. We prayed that the mountains would move from Noah and for the boys who had threatened and bullied him.

During this time, Noah has made peace with himself and has a place of forgiveness for those boys. He has prayed the Lord’s Prayer from The Jewish Bible over these young boys:

“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.” (Matthew 6:10–13).

As the days went by, things started getting easier. He then started praying the declaration of confidence in God’s protection from Derek Prince, from The Power of Proclamation.

No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper and every tongue which rises against me in judgment I do condemn.

This is my heritage as a servant of the Lord and my righteousness is from You, O Lord of hosts.

If there are those who have been speaking or praying against me, or seeking harm or evil to me, or who have rejected me, I forgive them.

Having forgiven them, I confess any sin on my part towards them, and I bless them in the name of the Lord.

Now I declare, O Lord, that You and You alone are my God, and besides You there is no other – a just God and a Saviour, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – and I worship You!

I submit myself to You today in unreserved obedience.

Having submitted to You Lord, I do as Your Word directs. I resist the devil, all his pressures, his attacks, his deceptions, every instrument, or agent he would seek to use against me. I do not submit! I resist him, drive him from me, and exclude him from me in the name of Jesus.

Specifically, I reject and repel: infirmity, infection, inflammation, malignancies, allergies, pain, viruses, and every form of witchcraft.

Finally, Lord, I thank You that through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I have passed out from under the curse, and entered into the blessing of Abraham whom You blessed in all things: exaltation, health, reproductiveness, prosperity, victory, God’s favour and God’s friendship. Amen.

On Thursday 25 April, we drove to Broome. During the drive, we listened to Paul Wilbur’s message, “Let the Weight of Your Glory Fall”. The Spirit spoke to me and said, “It’s time to sit back and see what I will do now”. I thought, “This is so interesting. What are you saying, Lord?” He spoke to me again, saying, “I will move mountains for you.” I thought, “Wow!”

So, we must remember that God can and will remove the mountain for Australia by our faith. Let’s sit back and watch what He is going to do.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we declare Australia is Yours and Yours alone. We declare the enemy has lost its hold on it.

We thank You for giving us authority through Jesus. We speak to the mountains holding our great nation back from stepping forth into the destiny You have for it. Let them be removed by Your authority, as Your Son taught us to do.

Amen.

    Dear Sister Gloria,

I stand with you in prayer and in anticipation of what God is going to do for and through you and your son, Noah! May the power, authority and fire of Almighty God rest in and on this young man and may he see many come to Christ through his forthcoming testimony!

    With much love, Stef.
