The stated target audience for Sesame Street is children aged between 2 and 5. So why do the show’s producers insist on marking Pride Month?

Is it a sop to all the lesbian toddlers?

Is it an encouragement to the queer kids still in nappies?

Sexame Street’s social media accounts sent out a message at the weekend saying:

Happy #PrideMonth from Sesame Street!

Today and every day, we celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ members of our community.

Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and welcomed for who they are.

Seriously, who’s running their socials? Bert and Ernie?

It’s tempting to think the Sesame Street Pride message was brought to you by the letter G, for Grooming.

In truth, I don’t think that’s what’s happening. The Left doesn’t want to turn everyone, let alone the kids, gay. I do, however, think they want to create little revolutionaries.

The first step in creating an army of revolutionaries is to sever the sacred bond between children and parents.

The Left must do this because they believe parents are raising their children to be hateful bigots.

Only when the Left separates kids from parents will they be free to program the next generation according to their own socialist fetish.

Calculated Indoctrination

Josh Dawes, from The Great Awokening Podcast, argues that this process is being carried out by a two-pronged attack on our kids using Critical Race Theory and Radical Gender Theory.

CRT and RGT are very different, and yet they work together to transform our children into a Leftist revolutionary class.

And by the way, if you think you can embrace Critical Race Theory while rejecting Radical Gender Theory — as many well-meaning Christians do – you are badly mistaken.

Let me explain:

Critical Race Theory teaches our kids that everything they have has been stolen from others, and is thoroughly undeserved.

This fills our young people with guilt and shame.

Critical Race Theory teaches white children that they are inherently bad. And it’s deliberate.

Critical Race Theory puts our children at war with their parents’ worldview and creates within them a disdain for everything their parents are trying to pass on to them.

Our children are taught that they have nothing to take pride in, not even — and especially — the achievements of their own parents and grandparents.

With their self-esteem completely destroyed, our kids are now ready for phase two.

New Identities

Enter Radical Gender Theory.

Instead of feeling shame for belonging to a culture of colonisers, our children are taught they can take pride in a colourful assortment of sexual identities.

Instead of feeling guilty about white privilege, they can be celebrated for coming out as non-binary, or asexual, or trans.

Faster than you can say, “My pronouns are they/them”, our children are offered the opportunity to be transformed from members of a vile oppressor group to members of a much-venerated oppressed minority group.

If Critical Race Theory is done properly, Radical Gender Theory looks like salvation.

So it’s quite literally a case of ‘out with the old’ and ‘in with the new’.

Now, the key is to ensure that most of the spade work is done away from the prying eyes of parents.

This is where children’s television and the school classroom come in.

If CRT, and then RGT, can be embedded in a child’s mind before parents work out what is going on, the child’s worldview will be firmly in place and difficult to change.

Even better, in the name of “tolerance and inclusion”, activists will have been able to manufacture an adversarial relationship between the child and parents. A breach that can only be repaired by deft parenting, which will be beyond the ability of most mums and dads.

In fact, most parents will overreact to CRT and RGT, which is exactly what activists want.

The overreaction usually serves to push the child further into the arms of the revolutionary class, who are so much more open-minded, understanding and inclusive than mum and dad with their bigoted, outdated, narrow-minded ways.

(Insert massive eye-roll here, obviously.)

The revolutionaries now have the little soldier they always wanted.

Soft-Hearted and Soft-Headed

Of course, I’m not saying that most schoolteachers are consciously doing this.

Most teachers believe they are acting in the best interests of children, but only because they have had their empathy weaponised against them.

I recently reported on a Melbourne school that renamed “Mother’s Day” as “Gifts Day” because they didn’t want children without a mum (or with two dads) to feel excluded.

The teachers were trying to be kind and were motivated by care and concern. But they were, in fact, what the Left loves to call “useful idiots”.

In trying to be nice, the teachers were only helping to chip away at the idea of a normal family. (This, by the way, is one of the stated goals of the Black Lives Matter movement)

Removal of sexual and family norms creates a blank space in children where the Left can insert a new identity and create a new loyalty — to the rainbow flag, which, if you’re not worked it out by now, is really just a Marxist flag, but with the kind of flair Karl could only have dreamed of.

The constant promotion of LGBTQ to our kids is not a conspiracy by dirty old men to diddle them (though it certainly makes that easier).

Rather, it is a connected effort by Leftists — who leverage the naive empathy of good people — to steal a generation from their parents and remake them as revolutionaries.

Big Bird can see what they’re trying to do to Elmo. I hope you can, too.
