The Election’s a Stage and Biden and Kamala are Merely Players
But Barack Obama, he plays many parts.
There’s cringe. And then there’s Kamala cringe.
And while an endorsement from Barack Obama was vital for her campaign, the Obama phone call was Kamala-grade cringe.
It was, I must say, also A-Grade narcissism. The Obamas calling to congratulate Kamala on gaining the Obamas’ endorsement.
Sickly narcissistic. And she didn’t get even one vote. Just appointed — politburo style.
But was the congratulatory phone call even real? Or was it AI like Joe’s call to her campaign launch? It’s so difficult to tell at the moment.
“Kamala!” yells Barack.
Kamala fawns.
“Aw.”
It’s an open secret that they don’t like each other. The pantomime of this not democratic Democratic Party clown show continues.
So candid. So cheese. So cringe.
The phone is on speaker and yet Kamala puts it up to her ear.
All performance art. It’s like a high school play.
Which is weird, obviously, because it was Trump who made a name for himself on reality TV.
And yet, here are the Democrats turning the United States presidential campaign into a second-rate version of The Apprentice.
Unfortunately, half of America believes reality TV shows are real!
But this, of course, was the beginning of the second call.
The first call went like this:
“Hey, Kamala. We’ll call you in 10 minutes. Have cameras ready. Oh, and make sure you walk with someone that has to hand you the phone for added effect.”
Ten minutes later:
“Kamala!” yells Barack.
Kamala fawns.
“Aw.”
So nauseating. So rehearsed. So like everything the Democrats do.
Identity Politics
Michelle grabs the phone and calls Kamala “my girl”, confirming what we all knew — Harris is owned by the establishment.
The use of “my girl” is also pandering, gross, and weird. But that’s very much on point.
She tells Kamala she is proud of her. Though we are not sure why. For her work on the border, perhaps? Surely not.
“This is going to be historic,” Michelle says.
It’s always historic for the Democrats, isn’t it?
First black president.
First openly lesbian White House spokesperson.
First trans secretary of health.
Kamala would be the first female president. And black. Her intersectional game is strong.
By the way. A question for Democrats eager to celebrate the first female President. What is a woman? Then again, what is a Kamala? I digress.
Joe Biden was a straight white male. But his presidency was still historic, as in historically bad.
Michelle Obama later tweeted that she was endorsing Kamala “because of her positivity, sense of humour”.
No policy. No accomplishments. No plan. They’re not even trying to hide the fact that their recommendation for President is nothing but a figurehead.
Cringeworthily Cheesy
But back to the “phone call” —
Barak tells Kamala:
“We called to say Michelle and I couldn’t be prouder to endorse you and to do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office.”
Kamala swoons.
“Oh my goodness!” she gushes.
“We’re going to have some fun with this too, aren’t we.”
Clearly, the Hollywood screenwriters’ strike is over.
It’s the cool kids club. They’re the Kardashian Party, and it shows. It also shows who their audience is.
Everything is so weird now.
In the past 14 days, we have had one president almost shot in the head, another president quit via a tweet, and another president endorse someone via a random phone call.
Deadpool and Wolverine look normal by comparison.
As Newsweek opinion editor Batya Unger-Sargon, whom I recently interviewed on Danica and James, said:
What’s wild about this call is there is nothing about the American people — it’s all how proud the Obamas are of Harris and how grateful and excited she is.
It’s a performance of celebrity friendship replacing politics, policy, or any thought of the struggling American electorate.
Obama is a god to progressives. The phone call was really for them. There’s nothing they love more than to believe they are intimately involved in this conversation.
And because the Obamas are okay with Kamala, then the sheep are okay with Kamala. And they call Trump a king!!
And this entire show was scripted before the debate. None of it is organic.
The Obama endorsement has the same vibes as Kamala’s phone call with actress Taraji P Henson:
@nowthisimpact Kamala Harris got phoned into the BET Awards this weekend 👀 #betawards #entertainment #kamalaharris ♬ original sound – NowThis Impact
Taraji P Henson:
“Oh madam VP Harris, I’m worried about the election. Women’s reproductive rights are on the line. Our Supreme Court is on the line. Our basic freedoms are being tested. Madam VP, I know you’ve been travelling across the country, what are you hearing?
Kamala replies:
“Yeah girl, I’m out here on these streets.”
Wait. What? Yeah girl? I’m out here on these streets? Since when did tha vice president come from tha ghetoos?
“The majority of us believe in freedom and equality. But as they say, these extremists, they not like us.”
As they say?
As who says?
The script, clearly.
This US election is clearly very scripted.
As that great political pundit Shakespeare once observed — this election is just a stage, and Biden and Kamala are merely players. Biden has his exit, and Kamala has her entrance. But Barack Obama, he plays many parts.

Nice one James. Now could ya get that there Appalacian boy ta show respect to us gals?
As ususal James MacPherson has nailed it. Kamala Harris is the biggest threat to Morality and Freedom . In my opinion, she is unfit to represent the Free World and will make the USA the laughing stock of World Leaders . A dangerous, evil woman.
