Has the Department of Justice just put a bounty on Donald Trump’s head?

The DOJ yesterday released a letter from would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh, offering a $150,000 reward for anyone who “finished the job”.

Routh was arrested after he was caught with an AK-47, lying in wait for Trump at a Florida golf course on 15 September.

Court documents released the day before yesterday included a letter from Routh apologising for his failure to assassinate Trump, and urging someone else to kill the former President.

Why release a letter offering a reward for the murder of Donald Trump in the middle of an election campaign?

Why release such a letter in the immediate aftermath of two assassination attempts?

Why release the letter at all? To what end?

The Department of Justice steadfastly refused to release the manifesto of a transgender shooter who shot up a Christian school for fear it would incite hatred.

But they have immediately released Ryan Routh’s manifesto urging the assassination of Trump. Have they no shame?

According to The New York Post, Routh wrote the letter five months ago and left it with a friend in the event his attempt to kill Trump failed.

Note how the language in the letter apes Democratic talking points.

In the 2020 presidential campaign Joe Biden described Trump as a menace to America’s “moral fabric.”

Routh’s letter says:

“One of the worst things about President Trump… is he’s torn apart the moral fabric of who we are.”

Routh is evil. He’s certainly not original.

And his words are not the mindless ramblings of a madman. They are a succinct rationale for taking out a man considered to be a “threat to democracy”, just as we have heard so many times from the Democrats and their media propagandists.

Perhaps the DOJ thought the letter safe to release since hardly anyone can read cursive anymore. I jest.

Release of the letter is outrageous. No fair-minded person would believe it to be a good idea.

And I know it’s a big call to make, but it increasingly seems the assassination of Donald Trump is the Democratic Party’s election strategy. How else to explain it?

The Plot Thickens

Added to this, there were extraordinary claims over the weekend that US authorities are aware of five assassination teams currently in the United States dedicated to killing Donald Trump.

Even more extraordinary, it is believed Homeland Security knew about the kill teams prior to the second attempt on Trump’s life just a week ago.

Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz made the claims in an interview over the weekend.

He said he had been told by someone within the Department of Homeland Security that

“Three of these teams are foreign-inspired, from my understanding — Iranians, Ukraine, Pakistan.”

He said the other two assassination squads were “domestic”.

This raises questions.

1. Why was Trump’s security not immediately upgraded to the same level as a sitting President?Homeland Security was aware of an unprecedented threat and yet left security settings at normal levels.
2. Who are these foreign agents, and how did they get into the country? Did any or all of these foreign kill squads come into the US via the porous Southern Border?
3. One of the kill teams is allegedly from Pakistan. Pakistan is an ally of the US Government. So how does that work?What contact has the Biden Administration had with their counterparts in the Pakistan government over this issue?
4. One of the kill teams is allegedly from Ukraine.Ryan Routh, who carried out the second assassination attempt, had returned to the US after trying to recruit soldiers to fight in Ukraine.

   He was allowed back into America despite authorities having received numerous reports of his attempts to raise a foreign legion in Europe. Why?

5. If there are five assassination teams that Homeland Security know about, how many others are out there? 
6. And what of the two domestic kill teams? Who are these people, and what is being done to apprehend them? Authorities don’t need to wait until shots are fired. Threats to kill a former President and election candidate are an offence. If authorities know who these people are, why have they not been stopped already? What are authorities waiting for? (That’s a rhetorical question. I fear we all know the answer) 
7. The first assassination attempt by Thomas Matthew Crooks is still a puzzle. Who was he? Why did his father engage a high-flying lawyer? How had a kid been trained to make explosives? And there are a dozen other questions regarding Crooks.

I’m increasingly disgusted, though less and less dumbfounded, by the Biden-Harris Administration and their sycophants in the public service.
