Family First: Conservatives are Fighting Back in the ACT

Following the “unjust excommunication” of Elizabeth Kikkert from the Liberal Party of Australia, Family First has gained a new face for their cause.

Kikkert was booted from the Liberals after an office incident where footage of her putting a phone next to a man’s face was allegedly taken out of context and circulated in the media. According to her, “What you don’t see was that moments before, I was speaking to a Liberal Party member on the phone, and they wanted to speak to the gentleman standing.”

She has asked the party to release the full footage; however, they have not complied with her requests. Sunil Baby, Kikkert’s fellow Family First candidate, states that it is not professional to behave this way before an important state election, and disendorse a candidate only weeks before voting commences.

It appears Kikkert has now joined the ranks of Bernie Finn and Moira Deeming, who have also been expelled from the party. Moira is currently involved in seeking justice for her expulsion, in the courts. More and more Christian candidates in particular, are being removed from the party. Australia is supposed to be a democracy which operates on the premise of fair representation, and equal opportunity. That is now all being undermined as candidates are booted in droves…

Laudable Goals

Running alongside Kikkert and Sunil in ACT’s upcoming state election is Andrew Wallace (another candidate for Ginninderra). Andrew resigned from the Liberal Party at the beginning of the year following behaviour he says he witnessed from the “left faction” of the party, which he believes was discriminatory against Christians.

All candidates are running to preserve much-needed family values in a rapidly decaying territory. Paramount to their fight for justice is stopping radical gender ideology, which they believe is resulting in medical malpractice across Australia, and destroying children and their family lives.

The party is also unapologetically pro-life, which brings a fresh and necessary alternative to the death mantra brought to you by the Labor Party, which supports broad abortion provisions in legislation as well as wide euthanasia policies.

The public is starting to seek an alternative. Following my interview with the candidates for Ginninderra, it seems Family First is determined to garner manpower for the upcoming election and shift culture in a pro-life direction, and foster a society where the conservative voice can still be heard.

According to the candidates, there is a gap in politics for a mid-size party, and high demand for policies that target pressing matters, including the cost-of-living crisis, high rates, and mental health and community services. They also have strong environmental policies, including support for nuclear energy.

Arguably, the party has been operating as the shadow government and not the ones in charge, because they have been shifting further and further to the left of the political spectrum, and not offering a viable alternative to the wokeness promulgated by Labor.

Many voters are, therefore, shifting their focus to independent candidates or newer parties.

Refocus

The candidates are determined to change the current government and to refocus Canberra on the things that truly matter. Andrew believes several initiatives brought by Labor have been an economic disaster. He believes the Labor Party is focused on the wrong areas, and not on the needs of actual Australians.

The candidates are excited to build up Family First’s reputation and they are involved in a “pioneering effort” to relaunch the party, which was first conceived in South Australia in 2002.

They are forward-thinking and genuinely represent the diverse Australian community, as two of Ginninderra’s candidates are of ethnic backgrounds. Sunil, who is Indian-Australian, indicates migrants are coming to Australia in search of a better life, and the last thing they want is for their children to get sucked into the woke gender ideologies of the left. Elizabeth is also of Tongan descent. The idea that right-wing conservative policies is only for old white Aussie males, is a lie.

Family First represents contemporary Australia, which values the family and the safety of the community at large – their particular focus on society’s children is important for our times, as they are the future of this nation. Andrew calls for Australia to stop victimising its children, and to instead protect their wellbeing in practical ways.

Thanking God for the Family First party.
Thanking God that He has directed Elizabeth Kikkert to join Family First after the LNP falsely accused her of passing her phone to a person (they said was passed to the man in a supposed unauthorized way but refused to show the real footage which defends Elizabeth’s actions).
It is a sad day when such quality people as Elizabeth, Moria Deeming and Bernie Finn are expelled from the arty as they won’t follow the Leftist agenda that has come into the LNP.
May good come out of this as Family First is strengthened and as Moira and Elizabeth fight in court to have the truth clarified.
