100 Accounts on Twitter/X the Albanese Government Doesn’t Want You to Follow

3 MINS

Stop wasting your time on fake news. Get on Twitter/X and follow these accounts before the Albanese Government throws us all in the digital gulag.

Two facts are emerging as the Albanese Government courts the support of cross benchers to pass its unpopular Misinformation bill.

First, the bill will empower the government to tell Australian citizens what is true and what is not — a dystopian plot if ever there was one.

Second, those pushing the bill are driven by a personal vendetta against Elon Musk, who purchased Twitter in 2022, rebadged it as “X”, and resurrected it into the only truly free social media platform.

I stopped following the corporate media several years ago, and now use it only to cross-check information I find in more trusted sources, all of whom are active on X.

As a case in point, consider that mainstream media outlets told us, in unison, that Donald Trump was an unelectable felon and demagogue. X might have been the only platform on earth that painted a true picture of Trump’s popularity among American voters, and predicted that he would sweep the 2024 US election.

X was right. The legacy media couldn’t have been more wrong. Guess which one our Prime Minister wants to censor?

Trade Fake News for Accurate Reporting

Complaining about wannabe tyrants will only get us so far, however. What this moment requires of us is decisive action.

So, here’s my pitch to you. Cancel your newspaper subscriptions. Turn off the nightly news. Starve the corporate beast.

Replace the fake news in your life with a free subscription to X. Here’s how to do it:

  • Go to X.com/signup
  • Click create account
  • Fill in your details
  • Follow the prompts to verify your account.

Like any social media platform, X can be a rabbit warren of fear and speculation. But you have complete control over what you see by making sure you follow reliable sources.

Below are 100 accounts I encourage you to follow. It goes without saying that I don’t endorse every tweet they publish. Some come from vastly different political leanings than I. Others will occasionally use bad language or promote a moral or spiritual outlook I find objectionable. However, in combination, these 100 accounts will give you a deep and informative picture of what’s taking place around the world at this fascinating juncture in history.

So, once your X account is up and running, take a few minutes to click on each link below and hit the black follow button on their profile.

Then, next time you are tempted to turn on the TV or read an article from the legacy media, scroll on X instead — and experience the beauty of being slowly un-brainwashed.

And whatever you do, don’t tell Mr Albanese.

For accurate and trustworthy information on events in Israel, Lebanon, Gaza, Iran, etc, you can’t go past Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel. He was a Major in the IDF and it’s a messianic Jew, ie., an Israeli who has his eyes open to who the Messiah is, namely Jesus Christ.

Thanks, Kurt. Why not include John Anderson?

Hi Trevor, the only reason I didn’t include John Anderson is because his X account tends to be on the quiet side. A priceless commentator and podcaster though!

Thanks Kurt. Not sure if he’s on X, but I’d add John Anderson to you list of voices well worth listening to.

John Anderson is a brilliant commentator. I find his X account tends to be a bit quiet, which is the only reason I didn’t include him. I highly recommend his Conversations podcast!
