Biden briefed on attacks

So Many Questions About the US Terror Attacks Remain

6 January 2025

7 MINS

We need more answers and clarity on these recent attacks.

We are still learning about the two attacks in the United States over the past few days. Even though new details keep emerging, much like the July 13 Trump shooting, it seems that far more questions remain. Remember that the FBI in New Orleans first said that this was NOT a terror attack! They had to change their tune an hour or two later.

Such equivocation and confusion is not reassuring to the people there or to the citizens of America. Especially given that the truck involved was flying an ISIS flag! The authorities knew very early on just what was motivating this attack. But far too often the media and too much of homeland security under Biden and the Democrats want to suppress the truth in order not to offend others.

Moreover, back in 2010 al-Qaeda had written about the efficiency of vehicular jihad, and how targeting pedestrians in crowded public spaces could “achieve maximum carnage”. And we have seen that happening so often in the West over the past few decades, including the Christmas attack in Magdeburg, Germany. Yet we still seem not to have learned our lessons.

And both vehicular attacks seem to be related. The Turo car rental app was involved in both vehicles, both rented from out-of-state drivers, and both using explosive devices and the like. Both men were in the military, and both served in Afghanistan, etc. In terror activity like this, we must resist putting such things down to mere “coincidences”, although we await to see if the two attacks were indeed linked.

Security failures

Plenty of experts have already weighed into these matters, arguing that security was far too lax in New Orleans in particular, and in America in general. We are having multiple failures in our security services, both state and federal. Agencies are letting us down, and not sharing information with each other is part of the problem.

They MUST be focused on their primary mission, and not on woke political and social agendas. The latter is how you destroy a nation. Whenever there are large crowds attending public events, there needs to be serious security plans in place. All American cities have plenty of soft targets, especially when any large public event is held. As commentator Tomi Lahren said, “Our entire nation is a soft target when you have an absentee president.”

There were 300 police officers in the French Quarter when the attack took place. Yet the attacker still seemed to so easily get away with his terrorism. Barriers were not in place in New Orleans, and only temporary ones had been set up. Good grief. That is just unacceptable in today’s climate with so many enemies of America working overtime to cause mayhem and murder.

And why was Shamsud Din Jabbar not on the security forces’ radar? They should have known about him and his radical conversion to Islam and ISIS. He had posted some very alarming videos on social media about this. We have terror watch lists and the like, and he should have been on it.

While he was born in America, we know there are plenty of sleeper cells in this country, and so many of them have come in through our porous borders. As the incoming Trump Border Czar Tom Homan said, “You can’t have national security if you don’t have border security.”

Obama tried to call the 2009 Fort Hood terror attack ‘workplace violence’! Thirteen people were killed by that jihadist. The left lives in denial about Islamist terrorism. And our security agencies seem unwilling to say who the enemy is. Much of this must be put down to the Democrats, the mainstream media, and woke policies.

Our failed leaders

Whether it was Obama or Biden, our Democrat leaders have aided and abetted this rise in homeland terrorism. Consider the increasingly senile and mentally impaired Biden. That he is still in office during these turbulent times makes it even more of a worry.

Biden waited 16 hours to say a word about the attack, and then spoke for just 3 minutes from a teleprompter that failed midway through – then he left with no questions taken. That pretty much shows us how concerned he is about all this. Our Sleeper-in-Chief.

The utterly failed policies of Biden and Harris to keep our nation safe and to secure our borders will go down in history as among their worst crimes and misdemeanours. One can only be forever grateful that Harris did not win the election in November. That really could have spelled the end of America.

Who are the real enemies?

Under the useless Biden and the woke Dems, there was far more concern for DEI than IEDs. And the result is people DIE. For those not in the know, DEI stands for diversity, equity and inclusion, while an IED is an improvised explosive device. This inversion of values and priorities has terribly infested and polluted homeland security, the FBI, the Secret Service, and other government agencies.

Because of this woke madness, we now have a national security crisis in the US. America is just not ready for Islamist terrorism. American security agencies are focused on all the wrong things. Agencies like the FBI are in need of radical change. This is especially the case given who they think are the real bad guys.

Groups like the FBI under Biden and the Democrats have been more concerned about going after Christian pro-lifers and mothers raising concerns at school board meetings than they were going after the real terrorists. Recall that Biden gave a speech in 2021 saying that the greatest threat of terrorism in America comes from “white supremacy” and not ISIS, and al Qaeda!

Sean Davis of The Federalist put it this way: “The FBI was too busy kneeling at BLM riots, arresting Christian pastors, locking up patriotic grandmothers, spying on churches, and lying about school board parents to be bothered with something as trivial as stopping violent terrorists from killing Americans.”

And as Gerald Posner said on Substack:

The Biden admin prioritized the possibility of right-wing domestic violence over Islamist terrorism. In my NYT bestseller, WHY AMERICA SLEPT, I wrote that had happened during the Clinton administration. Ruby Ridge, the Unabomber, Waco, the Murrah Bldg + Atlanta Olympic bombings, made the CIA and FBI take their eye off Islamic fundamentalists. The result was 9/11.

I am not contending a 9/11 attack is imminent, I’m just urging the incoming Trump administration officials — Pam Bondi, Kristi Noem, Kash Patel — to ensure the nation’s security services reactivate a high priority focus on the Islamist threat.

Islamist cells who want to cause havoc and terror in Western countries have not gone away. They are patient. And they well might be emboldened by the many thousands of post-October 7, anti-Israel demonstrators in our major cities and on college campuses, who have publicly supported Hamas, Hezbollah, even ISIS, and urged everyone to “globalize the intifada.”

Ben Shapiro was right to keep our focus on political Islam:

Islamic terrorism remains a serious threat to the American public. Pretending that away by suggesting that the real threat in America is ‘Right-wing’ white supremacism …  [and] has nothing to do with radical Islam is, of course, wish casting. And this is one of the big problems that Europe has had as well — the attempt to pretend away the problem of radical Islamism and its impact on the politics and the lives of the people who are living in Europe.

I am so glad that this dangerous woke and lame-duck President and his team will soon be out of the White House, and a real leader will take charge. Now more than ever, we need strong leadership, and those who are willing to call a spade a spade. And Trump will clean up this mess, which is allowing so many innocent Americans to be killed and injured.

Clueless wonders

One thing that always bothers me is all those who will somehow try to make excuses for all this evil. Whether it is another Islamist attack, or some obvious assault on Christian beliefs and values, or the latest insanity being promoted by the sexual revolutionaries, plenty of apologists will always arise.

And I have in mind here those who call themselves Christians. Even too many Christian leaders and pastors fall into this camp. They seem clueless about evil. They are gullible. They are naïve. They SHOULD know that there are such things as sin and evil.

Real evil exists, and real evil people hate America and want to do real evil things. But some of these folks always seem eager to make excuses or justify what is happening. Until they and all of us get real about the state of the problem, we will simply keep experiencing more and more evil – in this case, more and more of these terror attacks in American and Western cities.

A better way ahead

As mentioned, very soon, the useless and dangerous Biden administration will be history. In 14 days, Trump will take over, and he will not waste any time in turning things around. Recall that Trump had all but wiped out ISIS during his first term, but now they are back with a vengeance under weak and woke wonders like Biden.

Trump has so much to do. In addition to securing America’s southern border, we will need an independent domestic terror unit established in America. Trump will be the man to take these and other much-needed steps. His support of Israel and get-tough stance on the jihadists will also be long overdue.

Israel is the only nation that is really taking the Islamist threat seriously, and waging war against it. At the same time, it has to fight off all the demonising and hatred of the West against it. So to have Trump come to the aid of Israel and start taking on nations like Iran will be most welcome indeed. His inauguration cannot come soon enough.

Pray for America

In addition to a new beginning for America come January 20, we also need to keep praying for this country. Terror attacks will not disappear under a Trump administration, but hopefully they should be greatly reduced. Right now the delayed college football game, the Sugar Bowl, is being played. So far, so good – no incidents reported.

But we also have the AFL Super Bowl LIX that is scheduled to be played on February 9, also at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Will the city be ready for this massive event? With Trump at the helm by then, and the prayers of God’s people, it is hoped that it will be a safe and secure event.

More information about these attacks will be forthcoming. Likely, even more questions will arise. But it is hoped that a renewed America under Trump will see many fewer such attacks on American soil. We all should pray to that end. With strong leadership in the White House and God’s people taking seriously their call to be prayer warriors, it is hoped that things will certainly turn around for the better in the US.

All that is said above by Bill Muehlenberg about America applies equally here in Australia. From the Bali Bombing to the attack on the Syrian Bishop to the firebombing of a synagogue in Melbourne, the instigators are radical Islamists. Our present Govt, so beholden to ‘ethnic votes,’ urges us to look the other way and preaches to us about Islamophobia.

I can’t understand why you as an Australian write in the first person about America.
