How Elon Musk prompted a national conversation about thousands of British girls gang-raped by Muslim migrants.

It took Elon Musk to say the unsayable about the unspeakable for the world to finally notice one of the most horrific crimes in the history of Great Britain.

Thousands of girls — no-one knows exactly how many — were brutally raped by migrant gangs as social workers, police and politicians refused to believe their lying eyes.

The crimes were unspeakable.

Gangs of men targeted vulnerable girls — girls who were poor, fatherless or in state — in more than 50 British cities.

The gangs groomed the girls, many of them around 12 years of age, with candy, food, taxi rides, and drugs.

Then they raped the girls before passing them around to family members, friends or networks of other men who all did the same.

Eventually, the girls were simply discarded or murdered.

Criminal Negligence

The crimes were only allowed to continue — and they continued for more than 20 years — because the identities of the perpetrators were unsayable.

Everyone knew that the rapists were gangs of Muslim men from Pakistani and Bangladeshi backgrounds. But no-one dared say it.

Social workers were aware of the rapes but were intimidated into staying quiet.

Local police ignored reports of rape. In some instances, police actually assisted the perpetrators by sending victims who had arrived at police stations for help straight back onto the street where their tormentors were waiting in cars.

Senior police and politicians were so concerned about what they called “community relations” that they did everything to avoid taking action.

Yes, the crimes were unspeakable. But “Muslim” and “Pakistani” — those words were unsayable.

It’s true that some people dared to speak up. But they were accused by charities (would you believe it) as well as by Labour MPs of racism and, of course, Islamophobia.

The media were largely incurious, despite this being one of the biggest scandals in the history of the UK.

To speak the truth about what was happening would have been to raise difficult and awkward questions about multiculturalism.

To speak the truth about what was happening would have been to risk being labelled a bigot.

To speak the truth about what was happening would have been to risk losing Muslim votes.

As journalist Dominic Green observed:

“Class snobbery had fused with the new snobbery of political correctness.”

Devastation

So many girls were raped that, unbelievably, no-one knows exactly how many girls were raped.

The number of young victims is presumed to be in the tens of thousands. I have seen some reports that estimate the number to be even higher than that.

The saga had been largely swept under the carpet.

You know how it is. The rape of tens of thousands of young girls by Pakistani Muslim immigrants who regarded them as “slags” is just one of those things that happens from time to time.

Diversity is our strength, yeah?

But the lid was lifted last month when members of the Oldham City Council called for a government-led inquiry into the institutional failure and corruption that made mass rapes in their town possible.

Unbelievably, Jess Phillips, the Home Office’s Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls, denied the request.

In the era of #MeToo and #BelieveAllWomen and #SayHerName, the rape and sodomising of young girls was not thought noteworthy enough to be inquired of.

Phillips’ job was to “Safeguard Women and Girls”. It’s literally her job title. Phillips is only concerned about safeguarding her seat.

It would be wrong to have you think, however, that this is all on the Labor Party.

Back in 2019, Boris Johnson mused that spending money on the investigation of historic child sex abuse crimes was money “spaffed up a wall”. “Spaffed” is slang for ejaculation.

The following year Johnson’s government suppressed an investigation into grooming gangs, arguing it was not in “the national interest” to release it to the public.

Speaking Up

And then along came Elon Musk.

A man whose billions afford him the ability to say the unsayable about the unspeakable.

While most of us were eating turkey and enjoying the beach over Christmas, Musk spent time reading court documents about things unspeakable.

I’ll give you just one example:

A 12-year-old girl named “Sophie” fled to a police station and reported that she had just been sexually assaulted in a graveyard by a man named “Ali”.

The officer manning the police desk told Sophie to come back with an adult when she was sober.

Two men actually accosted Sophie in the police station. They then led the girl out of the cop shop and into a car, where a third man joined in raping her.

When they dumped her on the street, the girl — desperate — asked a man named Sarwar Ali for directions.

Sarwar Ali looked kindly upon the girl. He took her to his home, where he raped her before providing money for a bus fare home.

Before she could leave for a bus, a man named Shakil Chowdhury arrived and offered to drive her home. It wasn’t really an offer.

Sarwar Ali handed Sophie over to Shakil Chowdhury, who drove her to a house where he and four other men repeatedly raped her.

Unspeakable.

And for years, unsayable.

But Elon Musk, unconstrained by threats of being deplatformed after buying the platform for $44b, was free to say what no one else had dared.

The richest man in the world could not be intimidated into agreeing that thousands of white girls should have been sacrificed to placate the left’s golden calf of multiculturalism.

And so his series of tweets, expressing horror at what had been allowed to go on, reverberated around the world over the New Year’s break.

And when he wasn’t tweeting his own thoughts, he was retweeting fire such as this:

“The British government and authorities have turned a blind eye to the systemic rape and abuse of little girls for decades.

“Yet, whenever the topic of Pakistani grooming gangs across the country is brought up, they scream about the far right and racism.

“How dare people notice that South Asian grooming gangs are disproportionately responsible for the rape, torture, and murder of little girls up and down our nation, whilst those in power refuse to do anything because they’re scared of being called racist.

“Heads should be piked. The cowardice of our government and authorities is sickening.”

Musk’s tweets provoked more soul-searching in 10 days than Westminster had managed in more than 10 years.

Eyes on the Prime Minister

The pressure is now on UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to call an inquiry into the horror show. The problem, however, at least for him, is that he was director of the Crown Prosecution Service between 2008 and 2013. While his department successfully prosecuted some gang rapists, they failed to even bring many major cases to court.

Could an inquiry be so damning of the CPS under Starmer’s leadership that the revelations toppled his prime ministership? Maybe.

Perhaps justice for little girls raped and sodomised by gangs of men is more important than political fallout. Dare we dream?

Keir Starmer was outraged that Elon Musk referred to Jess Phillips as a “genocidal rape apologist” for her refusal to authorise a national inquiry into the scandal.

If only Keir Starmer were as outraged about a 12-year-old being driven at night to a wooded area in Yorkshire where she was forced to perform oral sex on at least 10 men before being left alone in the dark.

Starmer took a knee for George Floyd — a black American who died in controversial circumstances. But will he authorise an inquiry for thousands of white British girls whose lives were destroyed in the most horrific manner?

If he cannot summon the moral clarity to prioritise the safety of British girls over his own political future or above his own leftist ideology, he should not be leading the country.

For now, Starmer is stonewalling. He recently labelled calls for an inquiry as being “right-wing”.

If demanding justice for young British girls viciously raped by Muslim migrants is a “right-wing” thing, then the Labor leader might just find that the whole country is right-wing. And then where will he be?
