Join Us at Church and State Conference 2025!
Since 2018, Church and State (CAS) Conferences have been equipping Christians to fulfil the biblical mandate to be salt and light in our culture (Matthew 5:13–16).
Proverbs 14:34 teaches us, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Without a doubt, Australia’s Christian values, such as the sanctity of life, family, faith, freedom, and centrality of faith in the God of the Bible, have led to one of the greatest countries in history.
The Canberra Declaration has now become a proud partner of CAS. Even more exciting, Warwick Marsh and Kurt Mahlburg will speak at the national CAS Conference in Brisbane from 7 to 8 March 2025! Kym Farnik, Canberra Declaration prayer co-ordinator, will also join Warwick and Kurt at the summit!
Watch as Warwick explains this exciting news in the video below!
The Cruciality of Christianity to Culture
As Dave Pellowe, founder of CAS, quotes French political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville (1805–1859):
“I sought the greatness and genius of America in her commodious harbours and her ample rivers—and it was not there… in her fertile fields and boundless forests—and it was not there… in her rich mines and her vast world commerce—and it was not there… in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution—and it was not there.
“Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power.”
“America is great because she is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”
de Tocqueville’s insight is profound. His message is desperately needed today – especially for many Christians who have a limited understanding of how crucial Christianity is to seeing our culture flourish again and the gospel go forth in power and purity.
That is why we invite you to the national summit held in Brisbane this March. As Dave Pellowe also says, “If you’re NOT interested in politics, you’ll LOVE the Church and State
Please invite your family, friends and Church leadership!
