Dear President Trump, RE: Ukraine
(If I was advising President Trump, this is what I would say).
Dear Mr President,
Congratulations on your return to the White House. I realise it’s been a long journey for you, full of twists and turns, let alone attempted assassinations. May God uphold you in your work.
Like many people, one of my big hopes for your second presidency is a return to the relative world stability we had in your first term. The last four years of your predecessor have been quite chaotic: a disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. The October 7 massacres. And, of course, the war in Ukraine. I’m hoping and praying you’ll help reduce the chaos and bring more order to our troubled world, such as the historic Abraham Accords you helped bring to fruition four years ago.
And yet.
Mr President, you came promising to negotiate an end to the Ukraine war. A war that has decimated Ukrainian cities. A war that has left a trail of widows and orphans. A war that has brought destruction into European soil we haven’t seen since World War 2.
We in the West are hoping it would be a fair and just peace, especially for Ukraine, which did not ask for this war, let alone start it.
But your recent words and actions make me nervous for Ukraine and world stability. While I applaud your desire to end this horrible war, you seem happy to do it at Ukrainian expense. I know Putin would probably end this war if you gave him much of what he wanted. Looking on, it seems you want peace at any cost – especially to Ukraine.
But, Mr President, the Bible says yes, there is a time for peace. But there’s also a time for war.
While we all yearn for peace, sometimes war is the only way to defeat evil and bring that just and lasting peace.
Your great nation knows this well. It was American soldiers who fought the war that pushed Hitler’s armies back to Berlin. It was American soldiers who fought the war that brought an end to the Japanese empire. If the world was to see peace, your nation knew that the early 1940s was a time for war. God knows where we would be now if they decided otherwise.
At other times, the mere threat of war can bring peace.
Whether it was President Clinton threatening force to bring a genocidal Bosnian Serb regime to the negotiating table in the mid-1990s. Or you threatening to bomb Putin in your first term if he invaded Ukraine. (Putin says that if you were President at the time, he would not have invaded Ukraine). Or your threat of unleashing ‘all hell’ on Hamas if they didn’t return the hostages, which many Arab observers credit with helping bring Hamas to the negotiating table.
Sometimes, the threat of force, especially from you, is the only thing that the likes of Putin, Hamas, and many a dictator will heed.
And so, Mr President, I humbly believe you have options.
On the one hand, you could continue giving major concessions to Putin at Ukraine’s expense, Demanding little from him and much from Ukraine. Yes, it might end the war and bring peace – for a little while.
However, the testimony of history through events like Munich 1938 is that dictators like Putin become emboldened by such major concessions. They smell blood. They end up demanding more, not less. They see concession as weakness, not strength. And they feel confident to push the boundaries – if not immediately, then soon after. And we’ve yet to mention whether such a peace is just.
On the other hand, Mr President, you could do what you did before: threaten escalation. After all, it worked before with Putin, as you have said. Threaten to send a Naval carrier group or two to the Black Sea. Threaten to send a few squadrons of USAF fighters to control the skies of Ukraine on and off the battlefield. Russia can barely move forward against Ukraine (which has no control of its skies) despite a massive advantage in manpower. Could you imagine what Ukraine could do if American aircraft controlled the air?
(Russian Generals know it, and Putin knows it: such American air power would decimate Russian forces.)
Such threats of escalation would help bring de-escalation. The threat of war will help bring peace. It would send a signal to Putin and other regimes that America won’t tolerate her allies being invaded and abused.
You could help bring order to our chaotic world. You could help bring peace, through strength.
Mr President, there is a time for peace. But also a time for war.
I’ll be praying for your decision.

Its just amazing how many people have been totally indoctrinated about what is going on between Ukraine and Russia, with NO clue about what is really going on, or how it really started. Instead its just demonising Russia and not placing any responsibility on Ukraine and the west. If you were really clued into what is going you would understand that this is a proxy war for the military industrial complex and the globalists. But unfortunately covid demonstrated how easily the majority of people, including many christians, are manipulated. But God calls us to seek truth, I will be praying that more of Gods people have their eyes opened to evil. wake up!
I do not agree with some of your statements.No one except we who come from that awful country, Yugoslavia, created for the first time by meddling Great Powers circa 1919, + , which ceased to exist about 1991 when it exploded in violence ,can possibly understand the racial + religious hatreds from about 690 AD+ acerbated by the Turkish Conquest starting in Bosnia in 14th century, an act of gross Muslim treachery + cruelty from where some of my ancestors fled to the island of Curzola belonging to the Venetian Republic.
We know all about the rapes, stealing of our little boys brought up as Janissary( Muslim Warriors to kill their own Christian people + families). We know all about the horrendous tortures,beheadings, crucifixions +impalements of Christians, the kidnapping about 1640 of the Montenegrin Vladika(Prince/ Orthodox Bishop/Ruler) Danilo whom they intended to crucify unless a fabulous sum was paid! Montenegro was tiny + exceedingly poor country, so, the Catholic Venetians paid the money to free the Vladika .You foreigners have NO idea of my country ‘s ancient Scythian +Greco-Roman origins or the centuries of suffering under Muslim Rule in Dalmatia, Albania, Albania-Veneta , + my Montenegrin ancestors constantly having to fight at sea + on land to free slave markets ,galley slaves + to repel Muslim invasions of our Montenegro+ Venetian Istria+ Dalmatia.
When Yugoslavia broke up into fighting in the 1990s,the pent up hatred of many centuries of cruel rule by Muslims, resulted in the massacres of Muslims by the Serbs, especially in Bosnia.The reason was that in WW2 the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem urged the Yugoslav Muslims to join WW2 fighting with Hitler+ with the Separatist Nazi Croatian Catholics led by Pavelic. The Bosnian Muslims formed a special SS Division taking part in the Genocide of Orthodox Christian Serbs, raping the women, cutting their babies from their wombs, smashing their skulls on rocks , before slitting the throats of the mothers ! They+ the Croatian Nazis used sledge-hammers on Serbian men’s heads, collecting in baskets the eyes. Forced Catholic Conversions before burning the Serbs alive in churches. Catholic nuns poisoned small Serbian boys in the numerous Croatian Nazi Concentration camps in Istria. All this sickened even the Germans+ Italians ! My father saw the eyes in baskets. I’ve seen the films of the horrors ( kept in Rome) . I could not stop crying !The West has deliberately hidden this history because Turkey is a Nato Member + Saudi Arabia, etc own oil , so , France, UK , etc are pro-Muslim !
This explains why in the 1990s the Serbs + Montenegrins murdered every Muslim they could find in revenge for the WW2 massacres of innocent Orthodox Serbs. When The Yugoslavs fired on my parents’home town (Zara ) , on Dubrovnik (formerly Republic of Ragusa+ home of Dr. Messi, my ancestor), when they blew up the Muslim bridge at Mostar, Mother + I cheered because in WW2 we Dalmatians (the original inhabitants before the Slav Invasions of circa 690 AD )had been marked for extermination in WW2. Mother + I fled as refugees to Venice in 1944, losing millions in property for which we have not received one euro in compensation !
Thanks to the Clintons + the pro-Slav, Polish Pope John Paul 2 who had no love for Orthodox Christians, or, for we Catholic Dalmatians , the original First People of Yugoslavia , we were forever dispossessed(EXILED ) from our native country we had inhabited since the Bronze Age.You can’t lie with DNA !. Needless to say, we have no love for Polish Pope John Paul 2 who has been canonised . I don’t consider him a saint !The Catholic Church should ask for forgiveness + pay reparations for the thousands of Serbs Catholic monks+ priests murdered in WW2 + the Serbian children the Catholic nuns poisoned in Concentration camps!All True! I have a book which lists the names,etc of the Catholic Religious who took part in the slaughter + whom after WW2 ended ,were helped by the Vatican “Ratline “to escape to South America + NZ.
We must forgive, but, we can’t forget the horrendousWW2 Crimes of the Muslims+ Croats+ the Catholic Nuns , monks + priests=DEVILS+ what they did to ordinary Elderly, mothers + babies just because their religion was Serbian Orthodox Christian. My attitude to foreigners is “Butt out ! You don’t know the History of my country , Illyria (renamed “Dalmatia” by the Romans ) which once stretched to the Danube+ over what is now Montenegro + the highlands of northern Albania, including ancient Scodra/Scutari/Skadar . I did not shed a single tear over the Bosnian Muslims massacred by the Serbs . I am not sorry it happened ! The Bosnian Muslims of Sebrenica, etc deserved it !
The Serbs + Montenegrins gave up because they had no international support. Their traditional ally since the time of Peter the Great, Russia,chose not to be involved. The Yugoslav Army was using old WW2 equipment, their tiny navy was antique, their air power almost non-existant !Plus , they had a tiny population . Basically , they were a joke!The West supplied the Catholic Slovenians + Croats whilethe USA bombed Serbia + Montenegro
NO COMPARISON ! The situation with Crimea + part of the Ukraine is a totally different situation. Trump can’t bluff a Nuclear , Super-Power like Russia which is friends with North Korea, China+ India. The last 2, both Nuclear Powers !It is obvious Ukraine will never win. So,it must do what every losing Nation does, concede territory+ sign Peace! Ukraine cannot expect USA to forever fund/ waste billions on another Vietnam or Afghanistan , an unwinnable War! Let the Woke EU support the Ukraine which wants all the degeneracy of the West:–Pride Marches, etc. I don’t care what happens to the Ukraine because if Australia is attacked, would Ukraine or the UK or any EU countries come to our aid ? NO ! Fund our defence ? NO! In WW2 Britain evacuated its British Soldiers + civilians from Singapore leaving Aussies + Indians to be captured by the Japanese + starved in Chiangi !It used Aussies to protect UK, Europe + the Middle East+ Egypt, leaving Australia undefended +Darwin bombed by the Japanese + Japanese submarines in Sydney Harbour, until the Australian Prime Minister argued with Britain + brought our troops home to fight at Kokoda + in the Battle of the Coral Sea with the US, without whom, there would be no Australia today !
Trump + Vance have been insulted at The White House by an arrogant, ungrateful Zelenskyy. If the USA stops funding the Ukraine, the country will fall to Russia.
Zelensky is an actor and comedian by trade. He was plucked out of nowhere some years after a revolution (coup) against a democratically elected President!!! Many Christians i know who have not relied on the mainstream narrative that “Russia is alone to blame”, know that Ukraine has an evil history of its own & is doing the bidding of the WEF & co conspirators in the European Union & Nato. There are narratives from independent journalists who work in the region who give very different accounts & Putin warned Nato to keep away from Russia’s borders. To say this is one sided with black hats versus white hats is about as naive as it comes. Zelensky imo was playing games & had no intention of being diplomatic as a guest in the Whitehouse. It’s very possible that Zelensky’s overlords want to continue the war & escalate the war. There is still too much money to be made and too much depopulation to pursue. Many of the instigaters of the world current events are evil to the core. BTW many of them were colleagues & friends of Putin when they were all part of the WEF Young Emerging Leadership Program. There is a lot more to all this than meets the eye! As Christian believers we’d do well to take heed of the biblical warnings to watch and make sure we are not deceived in these latter days of the age? Yes, the number one characteristic of the End Times is deception. Deception makes evil look good and good look evil and blurrs the lines in between. Only commitment to prayer, scripture & yielding to the Holy Spirit will shine the light through the fog and maize.
