Massive Media Bias: Firebombing of NZ Churches Not Reported as Hate Crime

Six New Zealand churches and one chapel were fired-bombed last month.

The attacks occurred in Masterton, just north of Wellington, on the southern tip of the country’s North Island.

NZ police said in a 26 February statement that the fire-bombing was deliberate, adding that they were looking for a 44-year-old man and a small green Ford.

Police did not say whether the arson was ideologically motivated.

A Facebook account that appears to be owned by the alleged attacker suggests he dislikes Christians, is linked to anti-white racial separatism, and may struggle with mental health issues.

Yet another account on social media, this time TikTok, showed the alleged attacker taking responsibility for fire-bombing the churches.

Since February, police have not been able to locate the man.

Significant Damage

In a fresh statement published last Thursday, NZ’s finest said the small green Ford had been found abandoned.

Suggesting that more people may have been involved, police stated that the man was in hiding and probably “getting help” in evading police questioning.

Although anti-white separatists applauded the fire-bombings online, there was no discussion from police about whether or not this identified motive, or that there was more than one attacker.

Neither was there any mention as to whether NZ Police believed the church attacks were the result of a mentally ill person with an anti-Christian axe to grind.

Likewise, police were radio silent when it came to the man’s apparent social media accounts and his alleged video confession.

Thankfully, Masterton police were able to contain the early morning attack.

At least one of the churches was saved due to the professionalism of an officer, who, when passing by the burning church, pinned down the fire until firefighters arrived.

Churches have thanked emergency responders for their diligence and speed in saving the iconic buildings.

Also suggesting more people were involved, NZ Nationals MP Mike Butterick wrote on Facebook,

“Lowlifes had set four beautiful churches alight, causing significant damage, and had targeted three more.”

At the time of the attacks, Butterick said he would reach out to “local churches to express his deep sorrow and make sure they’ve got all the support they need.”

According to the Wellington Fire and Emergency Department, “damage to the churches ranged from moderate to significant.”

Hypocrisy and Insanity

If all this is news to you, it’s not because information is scarce.

It’s because left-wing standards don’t register attacks on Christians, Christian property, or Christianity as a hate crime.

If Christians bleed, it doesn’t lead.

Of course, this double standard isn’t set aside just to blur the slaughter of Jesus-people.

Look at the attacks on Elon Musk in the United States.

His haters cannot hurt him, so, instead, they harm Tesla workers, destroy Tesla dealerships, and set fire to Tesla charging stations.

The denizens of this clown world then hurt themselves, by destroying their own expensive Teslas.

All while patting themselves on the back as if they’ve destroyed Musk, and won a war.

Such is the unhinged mental state of those under the influence of Wokeshevism.

According to Critical Race Theory (CRT), there is only one group who have fallen short of the glory of God, and they’re all Christians, white people, men, and heterosexuals.

Even if churches are not predominately white, Marxian law — as applied by Intersectionality — means melanin or minority status doesn’t really matter.

White or not, Christians “are the oppressors”.

Under Marxian Woke critical theory, we can never be the oppressed.

In other words, hate crimes cannot happen to those labelled as privileged by the Woke Left.

I once had this explained to me by a white woman at Princeton in the United States.

She was a curator in my field of study.

After sharing with her the varying abuses, dysfunction, and abandonment I had experienced in my formative years, she told me that suffering was irrelevant.

This, she said, was because my white skin made me the oppressor; I wasn’t and could never truly be a victim.

I was then assured that I didn’t have a right to complain or describe myself as oppressed.

To this “anti-racist”, my suffering and trauma were easy to callously dismiss because my shade of melanin didn’t fit the Marxian mould.

This Marxian mould is why the fire-bombing of seven churches in New Zealand barely hit the radar.

The tragedy of double standards is found in the fact that downplaying these types of attacks encourages more of them.

We know this because it’s drummed into us every time a PRIDE member breaks a trans-nail protesting for trans rights.

Or when Muslims get offended, and half the world gets burned down.

Or when the insulated political caste kicks over a chair, then breaks their toe while screaming “domestic terrorist” at any mention of Donald Trump on TV.

Critics concerned about a lack of outrage over the fire-bombings in New Zealand are justifiably cynical.

We know that had those fire-bombed churches been mosques, Hindu temples, synagogues, or LGBTQ+ nightclubs, the attacks would be global front-page news.

We’d all be drowning in a sea of Wokeified broadcasts.

Legacy media would be plopping out wall-to-wall opinion pieces on systemic racism, while comrades in the commentariat gaslight their political enemies with fake phobias.

For 50 years we’ve allowed+ funded schools + universities which are the enemies of Morality( Abortion , LGBT+ Rights, etc ) + voted politicians of all stripes who HATE Whites+ Christians as “OPPRESSORS “regardless of skin colour(often black Africans + yellow Asians)+ now we find we are”surprised “that we are hunted+ our churches + synagogues attacked. It serves us right !Grow a backbone, agitate on Social Media , + demand churches follow the Teachings of the Bible before Australia is destroyed by the Enemies Within ! Keeping the Trump Administration informed about what is going on here is our only hope to put pressure on our ungodly politicians to change their support for Wokeism + Hatred of Jews + Christians .I think cutting US funding to rogue Australian universities which promote Climate Change despair + hate of Jews +Christians , etc is a great Idea–go Musk !

How horrible. Is it any wonder, though, considering the fact that Governments across the west are stoking rascism constantly. Separate and divide on colour. The Voice referendum was the shot across the bow in Australia, and although it failed, the Marxists and Communists implement by stealth each agenda.
Land grabs and prohibitions are just the beginning, sadly.
Add the useful idiots, aka Greens and Left wing ideologies, our country is beset by activism on steroids.
Poor New Zealand. What a beautiful country.

Thanks, Rod for this article. I was unaware of these incidents – it was not newsworthy enough for the legacy media in Australia! Thank you for alerting us to even more hypocrisy inspired by Wokeism . The church congregations must be devastated. But, as you share they have ‘no right to complain’ because they are Christians and so are the oppressors.
