Going with Beautiful Feet to Impact Lives for Eternity: Day 16
Intention
To realise it is a beautiful thing to be a part of God’s great rescue plan as He uses us to impact lives for eternity.
Scripture
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?
“As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”
– Romans 10:14–15
Reflection
The central challenge in GO Month is to pray for and share Christ with five people during the month of May.
What a great and achievable goal!
I love the Scripture above. It shows us the progression of the obvious:
How can someone call upon Jesus if they don’t believe in Jesus?
How can they believe in Jesus if they have never heard of Jesus?
How can they hear about Jesus if no one tells them about Jesus?
How can we tell anyone about Jesus unless we GO (or are ‘sent’)?
This is so logical, and it shows us the process of people being saved. Look what happens when we reverse the above:
We GO.
We tell people about Jesus.
People hear.
People believe.
People call upon Jesus.
People are saved!
It all starts with GO – making an intentional decision to proactively share Jesus with others!
We have all heard many sermons about sharing the gospel of Jesus with others, such as “Go into all the world…”. Yet, for many Christians, it is something that brings guilt and shame due to our inaction.
But is part of the problem that we need to be equipped and empowered to share the gospel?
It is not good enough to say we ‘should’ – but then provide no tools or training to be able to accomplish the task.
How do we start a conversation about Jesus? What is the gospel that we need to communicate? How can we do it in a winsome, loving and clear way?
We have some training resources and tools on our website that might help you with these challenges.
But one super easy way to share the gospel this year is through a new function we have put into our G7 app. Many people know that we have made a new 3D animation gospel video (at a cost of $50k – it’s like Pixar). Check it out below.
This video is now in the G7 app. We have also added a SHARE function. Simply go to the video and find the share icon at the top right-hand corner. Tap that and you can share on Facebook, Instagram, via text message, WhatsApp, etc.
I suggest that rather than doing a ‘general’ post on Facebook (although you could do this later as well), send personal messages to your five instead (and every non-Christian you have in your contacts list). Say something like, “Hi Joe, I was thinking about you. Saw this very thought-provoking video and wanted to send it to you to see what you think. It’s only 7 minutes. Have a look and let me know your thoughts.”
A personal message will achieve much more than a general post. You can copy and paste and just change the name. Very quickly, you’ll have shared with many people! Praise the Lord! I hope this helps and that you have many great conversations as a result.
Let’s have beautiful feet, trained to proclaim the good news, that go.
Take action today!

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for what Jesus did for us at the cross! Thank You that we can pray, share Jesus and get better equipped in sharing You with others. We thank You for the many resources and technology available that give us unprecedented opportunities to reach people all around the world.
We pause and surrender afresh to You and to all You are calling us to do. Give us courage and wisdom as we seek to lovingly share the Good News with others. Help us to GO!
In Jesus’ name, amen.
