Make History: Celebrate Men and Boys on International Men’s Day
We are excited to tell you that International Men’s Day is coming up on Wednesday, 19 November. The theme this year is “Celebrating Men and Boys“.
The team at Dads4Kids are even more excited to tell you that we are running an extraordinary global livestream on International Men’s Day with guests from all over the world. Nothing like this has happened in world history.
Why is the team at Dads4Kids the main global supporter of International Men’s Day? Well, it is simple, really. Our catchphrase at the bottom of our website says it all: “Building Men. Growing Fathers. Changing Generations!”
I was searching for a way to better explain our passion to support men and boys here in Australia and around the world. I stumbled across this Facebook post of Josh and Cassie, who are travelling around Australia with their five children.
Interesting! Reading their Facebook story reminded me of my travels around Australia with my own five children. Read it here in “No Regrets“.
I could not have said it better myself:
‘Jordan Peterson once said, “If you think tough men are dangerous, wait until you see what weak men are capable of.”
Lately, I’ve noticed a growing narrative in society that men are inherently dangerous, and that the solution to “toxic masculinity” is to feminise them. But here’s why this approach isn’t solving the problem — it’s exacerbating it.
When we strip men of their natural masculinity, their strength, courage, and sense of responsibility, we don’t eliminate toxicity.
Instead, we create a void filled with insecurity, passivity, and resentment. Weak men, unsure of their purpose and lacking direction, are far more dangerous than strong men who have been taught to channel their masculinity constructively.
Pure masculinity is not the problem; it’s the solution.
Strong, grounded men are the ones who stand up to injustice, protect the vulnerable, and lead with integrity.
They’re the ones who build families, communities, and societies that thrive. They don’t conform to mob mentality or shy away from hard truths; they face challenges head-on and take responsibility for their actions.
We need men who are strong, not domineering.
Courageous, not reckless.
And principled, not passive.
Men who embrace their masculinity in its purest form are the ones who drive positive change, inspire others, and create a better world for everyone.
So, instead of demonising masculinity, let’s encourage men to embody it in its highest form.
Let’s teach them to be strong, honourable, and purposeful.
Because when men are strong in character, everyone benefits.’
As Bettina Arndt wisely said, “No gender has a monopoly on vice.” Yes, we have bad men. Yes, we have bad women. The truth is, masculinity and femininity have been created by God.
Can you imagine me talking about toxic femininity? I would be laughed off the planet, and rightfully so.
Children are born into this world through a mother and a father. They grow up best as the natural tension between the masculine and the feminine is resolved daily in a loving marriage. Children need both the care and nurture of manly men and womanly women.
My good friend Kurt Mahlburg puts it beautifully when he says this in his recent article titled “The Great Feminisation: Helen Andrews Exposes the Hidden Costs of ‘Equality’”.
‘Men and women are different, yes — but not due to happenstance or random chance processes. We are different, and gloriously so, because God made us that way.
He designed men to lead, protect, and act decisively, equipping them to confront challenges head-on, settle disputes, and restore order after conflict. He made women to nurture, sympathise, and sustain life, endowing them with a unique ability to build consensus, guide outcomes with gentle authority, and sustain warmth and cohesion in families and communities.’
Our world prospers when men and women work together in a family and balance their competing characteristics through the miraculous power of sacrificial love because children need a mother and a father.
Both the masculine and the feminine are under attack at the moment. The greater attack is against the masculine. The attack against men is so ferocious that masculinity is in danger of extinction.
That’s why we are asking you to watch the 90-second video below that Nat and I have created. Tell your friends about the webcast. We invite you to make history with us on International Men’s Day on 19 November.
Lovework
Let’s prepare for International Men’s Day on Wednesday, 19 November 2025. See the new posters for 2025 here. We would love you to register for the webcast if you are able. Let’s celebrate men and boys in any way we possibly can, because our children need both a mother and a father.
Yours for Celebrating International Men’s Day,
Warwick Marsh

History was made last night. Last night showed that the pro-life movement is capable not merely of resisting change, but of advancing its own positive vision for the protection of human life.

Unfortunately, Warwick, your statements about neither masculinity nor femininity are correct and neither are Kurt Mahlburg’s, for the very simple reason that there is NO “pure”, “good” or “true”masculinity and NO “pure”, “good” or “true” femininity without the DIRECT INVOLVEMENT of GOD Himself.
ALL sinful humanity ALWAYS results in either toxic masculinity or toxic femininity, and that is the basic fundamental problem because it’s the basic fundamental problem with all of us fundamentally sinful human beings.
The ONLY time we ever produce “good” masculinity or “good” femininity is when we are deliberately choosing to give up our own selfish, sinful (and toxic) human desires to OBEY the will of the LORD Jesus Christ and serve those around us selflessly in the power of His Holy Spirit and with His agape love.
