Day 21: Lift Up Your Eyes
Intention
To lift our eyes to heaven, signifying a shift from these earthly atrocities to divine perspective, encouraged in the Lord, and walking as beacons of light.
Scripture
“Now when these things begin to occur, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near.”
– Luke 21:28 (AMPC)
Reflection
Today is the culmination of the 21 days of prayer and fasting for the unborn in 2026, praying for mercy and redemption.
These 21 days of prayer and fasting have been a national cry from our hearts that every person would stand for life, speak for life, vote for life and walk for life. Our help comes from the Lord, the giver of life to all.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
We are filled with hope and faith knowing the Lord’s ways are perfect and holy. We have been obedient to his call. He has heard our prayers for the unborn and those in crisis pregnancies and he is shaking and awakening our nation.
Today in Adelaide We Walk for Life!
We gather as the body and bride of Jesus Christ, dressed in white of one accord, one in him, for him!
We need each other, but most importantly we recognise our need for the Lord in this battle for the lives of the future generations, that are tragically being taken every day!
We need his mercy and compassion; we need his empowerment.
Our hope and faith in him, gives us the perseverance to never give up!
We realise we are not alone and with others we believe there is hope! We receive courage and inspiration to believe for great change in shifting our culture from death to life!
As we walk humbly in obedience to his call, we shine. We are the overcomers, ambassadors of our king. We are messengers of the good news of salvation and redemption — even of God’s forgiveness for the shedding of innocent blood.
We lift our eyes to heaven, signifying a shift from these earthly atrocities to divine perspective. We pray to our Father in heaven and experience the Lord’s tangible presence filling us with hope.
There is no denying the LOVE being poured out in the city of Adelaide today and at every walk for life.
We do not walk alone. Today, South Australia is carried on the prayers of all of you.
We walk for life as his body washed in his blood and redeemed. We do not walk as those without hope, but we are encouraged in the Lord, walking as beacons of light. Our Lord has his way to deal with darkness — our eyes are on him!
“But as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived — God has prepared these things for those who love him.’” (1 Corinthians 2:9 (HCSB))
Throughout this year thousands more will gather in cities across Australia to stand for life of the unborn and be their voice.
Today, we walk as one to see the end to aborting our future generations and to see those wounded by abortion forgiven and free as they encounter Jesus. Enormous power to bring change is available as we allow the love of the Father to flow through us.

Prayer
Gracious Heavenly Father, we bow before you and give you thanks for you are holy! Thank you for the gift of your Son Jesus Christ.
Lord, again today we ask for mercy and grace to help all those babies in the womb in danger of being aborted. Lord by your Spirit speak to the parents and show them the way out, that they would have hope and give their child a future. Lord divinely direct someone to throw them a lifeline that leads them to choose life for their baby and for themselves through accepting the gift of salvation given through Jesus our redeemer.
Thank you, Lord for everyone who has joined in these 21 days of prayer and fasting. We ask for you to bless them and like Job restore double for anything the enemy has stolen because they have spent their time praying for their ‘friends’ neighbours and others.
We ask, Lord, for a special grace and favour on the Love Adelaide Walk for Life. Today we pray for perfect weather, a great crowd and for your pleasing and perfect will to be done. We ask for these walks to continue to bear much fruit that lasts, from this Adelaide event and every gathering for LIFE across our nation in 2026.
To you be the glory forever in Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
