To the Parliamentary Members of the Liberal and National Parties,

After much contemplation, there is only one conclusion left to draw. The Coalition is a house divided—spiritually, morally, and ethically. You are consumed with internal conflict, perpetually looking inward rather than toward the voters who placed their trust in you for decades. You are unable to agree on anything except public accusations of lying and rebuttals. You allowed a hideous bill to pass through the House without proper scrutiny. Mr Hastie said he would oppose it, only to vote for it. How do we process that?

You are no longer a house. You are a pile of ruins—hatred, decay, and disarray.

What was once a marriage of shared purpose has become a union of dysfunction. The Liberal Party, under the sway of its moderate wing, now competes to mirror the Teals rather than represent its conservative foundation. You are now in irreversible conflict with the party’s traditional values—and with the very base that once sustained you.

The Nationals—the defection of Barnaby Joyce should have been your final warning. He was not merely a politician to rural Australia; he was the brand, a respected former Deputy Prime Minister. He was the living contract between your party and its people. When you relegated him to the backbench, you did not demote a man—you rejected the trust of those he represented. In doing so, you made him a free agent.

Do not mistake what happened next: One Nation did not recruit a politician. They acquired a fully functional, battle-tested political platform with a pre-installed user base. Your loss. Their gain.

The Liberal Party is no longer the institution Menzies built or Howard led. It has become “Labor-lite“—woke-aligned, adrift, embracing everything its conservative base opposes. You have each authored your own demise.

One Nation’s ascendance is no accident. Their poll numbers did not come from thin air. You turned your back on your base. You walked away from them—and they have now walked away from you. They have found and embraced a clear, uncompromising alternative. These are not merely poll numbers; they are signed-up, registered members of the party.

While you obsess over leadership spills, leaks to the media, accusations and rebuttals—becoming a media spectacle—Albanese cruises along unscathed and governs unchallenged. Instead of focusing on the nation and presenting alternative policies on immigration, energy, climate change, national security, and fiscal discipline, you are playing chess to see who is king and who is queen. You offer no vision for Australia’s future.

You offer nothing but finger-pointing and public self-destruction. Who, in their right mind, would vote for such a spectacle?

The Coalition is no longer viable. It is no longer relevant. It is no longer trusted.

Even your donors are distraught. The “Coalition collapse” has triggered a significant retreat by major donors who see a party in “civil war” as a bad investment. Several “blue-ribbon” corporate donors have reportedly paused their contributions.

Now that Barnaby Joyce is with One Nation, significant mining and regional industry donors are shifting their focus—and funds—away from the Liberals and toward the Nationals and One Nation. They see the metropolitan-focused Liberal Party as having abandoned their interests.

One Nation is now the alternative—not just for voters, but for donors.

What have you created?
The perfect setting. The perfect climate. The perfect vacuum for Barnaby Joyce to step up and shine. He will now be the voice of the opposition. He will hold Albanese’s ALP accountable. He will not pull punches, and he will not be conned into agreeing to a disgraceful bill. These are the hard truths.

Coalition, your house is a pile of ruins. All that remains is to decide whether you will be buried in the rubble, or walk toward what comes next.
