The Last Outpost of Reality: Sydney Catholic All-Boys School States Boys Will Be Boys
I woke up on Sunday morning to discover that a Sydney boys school not only requires boys to be boys, but requires boys to remain as boys.
What a time to be alive!
Let me read to you from The Daily Telegraph…
“An elite Sydney Catholic all-boys school is taking a hard-line stance on its gender policy, barring students from transitioning and requiring them to be ‘biologically male’ while attending the college.”
Those hardline Catholics!
Requiring boys to be… boys!
Monsters!
All-Boys School ‘Hardline’ Stance
Do parents really want their children to be educated by… hardliners?
The head of maths probably insists that two and two is always and only ever four, no matter how the boys might identify at any given moment.
And the head of English probably insists that vowels are AEIOU, no matter how loudly LGBTQ protest.
Hardline indeed!
It’s the nature of the times in which we live, isn’t it.
You know… where sticking to biological truth — and thousand-year cultural norms — is now considered “hard-line”.
At the rate we’re going, I fully expect that by 2030, people will be defined as “bigots” if they oppose human sacrifice.
But let me show you just how confused we’ve become. Come with me back to that Daily Telegraph article…

This elite Catholic all-boys school requires boys to be biologically male while attending the school.
Does The Daily Telegraph imagine St Joseph’s is a school for clownfish?
Male mammals don’t choose to remain biologically male because… I can’t believe I have to explain this… male mammals ARE biologically male and “biologically male” means just that… you’re “biologically male”.
Now, if St Joseph’s were a school for clownfish — which are famously born with male and female reproductive organs — then, sure.
But there are no clownfish at Saint Josephs. Only boys.
If you’re looking for clowns… you have to go down to the Australian Human Rights Commission… where they love to pretend that biological boys might be able to transition into something other than biological boys.
School’s ‘Courageous’ Stance
But back to The Daily Telegraph…
“If you want to attend elite Sydney Catholic all-boys school St Joseph’s, you will need at least $47,000 a year – and remain a male at all times.”
I love that.
“The boys must remain male at all times”.
The Daily Telegraph reports it as if it’s one of the school’s more demanding academic requirements.
The school’s stance was described in the article as “courageous”.
Which is completely true and utterly ridiculous at the same time.
Who was it who predicted we’d one day reach a stage where telling the truth would be considered an act of courage, and stating the obvious would be regarded as an act of rebellion?
Well, we’re there.

The Daily Telegraph…
“In NSW, religious schools are exempt from some anti-discrimination laws, allowing them to make certain enrolment and employment decisions in accordance with their faith-based beliefs.”
My first reaction upon reading that was to protest. Since when has adhering to biological facts been a matter of “faith-based belief”.
But go with me on this for moment…
If there is no truth beyond ourselves — nothing above us, outside us, or independent of our feelings — then truth becomes whatever we happen to feel this morning.
Reality becomes a personal hobby.
And once feelings become sovereign, facts become offensive.
In THAT world, the only people left defending objective reality will be those stubborn souls who still believe there is something outside themselves to which they must conform.
Which means biological reality eventually becomes the preserve of faith communities because they’re among the last institutions still willing to acknowledge that truth exists independently of our emotions.
Sorry… I’ve gone and gotten all philosophical on you.
But that’s kind of my point.
That boys have penises and girls don’t… wasn’t a deep philosophical discussion when we were kids. It didn’t require a panel discussion moderated by the ABC.
Today, however, some of the most educated people in society would rather debate how many angels can dance on the head of a pin than answer a straightforward question about biological sex…
Of course the NSW Independent Education Union insists that schools like Saint Joseph’s are discriminatory by insisting that boys must remain as boys.
The union’s Branch Secretary Carol Matthews told The Daily Telegraph…
“Discrimination can have a devastating impact on the mental health of teachers, support staff, students and school communities.”
You want to talk about a devastating impact on the mental health of communities?
When you decide biology is a matter of preference and that truth is a matter of personal taste… you end up with entire communities that have gone quite mad.
And that’s where we are now.
Apart from small outposts of sanity, like Saint Joseph’s Catholic College in Sydney, where they evidently still believe in reality.
Well done Joeys!
Now we will wait for the rest of the country to catch up to their ‘groundbreaking’ stance.

An oasis of sanity
Why aren’t more schools standing up to the Bullies implementing the UN Policy ? Fancy a black woman, a Nominee for the US Supreme Court not being able to define ” What is a woman? ” , but, the former , World -renowned Feminist, Germaine Greer has no problem, nor has Pauline Hanson in her Address to The National Press Club. The other thing is that now we can choose our sex , we are , also, allowed to pick the colour of our skin, ie I , a White woman , can now imagine, choose to be Black . This Insanity has no boundaries. Once these people were locked away in Mental Asylums, now we all are coerced under threat of court Persecution to obey and shut our mouths !
