Tales of heroism and bravery as Muslim terrorism event is thwarted.

By now, most of you know that another jihadist attack was attempted. A Muslim copilot had tried to crash an airline with 174 people – 166 of them Jewish – headed to Tel Aviv. Thankfully, brave passengers and crew on board managed to wrestle with the copilot from Oman and subdue him, and help see the plane land safely in Saudi Arabia.

Brave Passengers Thwart A Hijacking

One news report says this about the horrific event:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed Indian pilot Smit Machchhar for saving passengers after he was stabbed by his colleague in an alleged attempt to crash a flydubai plane on Wednesday. Passengers on the flight reached Israel safely on Wednesday after customers and crew foiled the copilot’s attempt to crash the aircraft, Israeli officials said. The struggle began when he stabbed the pilot and sent the jet plunging nearly 14,000 feet (4,267 m) in less than 30 seconds.

Machchhar was covered with blood on the floor when he managed to draw on “the last moments of his energy” to click open the release on the cockpit door, according to Netanyahu’s spokesperson Doron Spielman. That allowed passengers and crew to overpower the copilot and enable a second pair of flydubai pilots who were on board to land the jet in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

“He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals,” Netanyahu said in a post on X. “All passengers are out of harm’s way,” Netanyahu had earlier said in a video statement released by his office. In a post on X early Thursday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Machchhar, calling him a “hero.”

“In the face of the gravest danger and despite being seriously injured, he showed immense courage and an unwavering resolve to protect the lives of others. His valor helped save hundreds of lives and avert a great tragedy,” Modi said.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the bloody cockpit attack that occurred on a flight headed from Dubai to Tel Aviv during an exclusive interview with Fox News on Wednesday. Netanyahu recounted how the event unfolded and praised the “unbelievable courage” of passengers who quickly corralled the alleged attacker and stabilized the plane, specially crediting Yaniv Chayon, the man who broke into the cockpit and tamed the attacker. The prime minister said he prevented the world from a disaster of “unbelievable proportions.”

“The passengers, including 30 children, are already saying their prayers. They know they’re gone from this world,” he told “Hannity.” “And this young man just acts with incredible, incredible heroism and saves the day. He acted with coolness of judgment and heroism… just tremendous courage that prevented another 9/11.”

All this is about Islam doing what Islam does best. Muhammad – the ‘perfect’ example for all Muslims to follow – of course led the way, with terrorism, murder and bloodshed. And it has been going on for over 1400 years now, with no signs of it abating.

The Wider Threat Of Jihadist Terrorism

Consider this diabolical statistic: since the 9/11 attack of just 25 years ago – an attack that also used hijacked airlines as weapons of mass destruction – there have been 50,024 deadly terror attacks carried out by Islamic terrorists. Say it again: 50,000+ in 25 years!

As Bangladeshi-Swedish writer, physician, and feminist Taslima Nasreen has succinctly put it: “Terrorists are not misinterpreting Quran. It is clearly written in Quran that Non-Muslims must be killed. Secularists who defend Islam have never studied the Quran. Quran (Islam) is the root cause of terrorism.”

Voices Respond To The Foiled Attack

Plenty of useful commentary has already been heard about this latest attack. I cannot improve on these, so here are just some of their remarks and memes:

Joel C. Rosenberg – I thank the Lord — and some very brave Israeli citizens — for saving the lives of 180 passengers who were apparently almost murdered by a co-pilot trying to hijack a FlyDubai flight from the United Arab Emirates to Israel. It’s a crazy and terrifying and miraculous story.

Steven Ertelt – You never see Christians hijacking a plane and yelling “Praise Jesus” as they try to kill everyone on board.

Vivid – The 5 heroes of the day. The brave Hindu captain who fought the jihadist hijacker while badly wounded, and the four Israelis who rushed into the cockpit to choke the terrorist and help save the plane. Make a movie of these guys’ bravery.

Anastasia Volkova – 100 Israeli passengers vs One Muslim Pilot. What a completely disproportionate response from Israel.

John Spencer – He (Captain Smit Machchhar) is an Indian version of Sully, a hero… the terrorists lost today, a lot of men of character showed up, Captain Smit, Yaniv Hayoun, the others that responded to save all.

James Woods – Of course, fake news on the left reported the terrorist hijacking attempt as an “incident in the cockpit.” If Elon Musk hadn’t bought the corrupt Twitter and transformed it into an open forum, we most likely would never know about yet another act of Islamic terrorism.

Laura Loomer – So when is the Omani hijacker who tried to kill a plane full of Israelis today going to be granted asylum in the UK and run to be the next Mayor of London?

Shabbos Kestenbaum – Christians will not hijack planes in the name of Jesus. Jews will not blow themselves up in the name of Moses. Mormons will not behead you for leaving the faith. But there is one religion that absolutely DOES do these things on a daily basis. Can you guess which one?

Every Hamas terrorist that Israel takes out, every Hezbollah terrorist that Israel takes out, every Iranian IRGC terrorist that Israel takes out makes America safer because those same terrorists want to murder Americans. They have murdered Americans. When the Ayatollah chants “death to America,” he means it.

Why would a Muslim stab a random person on the streets of Europe, ram a car into a group of people, or deliberately crash a plane full of people? We as human beings know we are not good enough, and we spend our life trying to redeem ourself through good deeds, thinking it will make the suffocating guilt go away.

Christianity, for example, offers a way out of guilt, a solution not based on your works but on Christ’s. Salvation isn’t earned, it’s given. You accept that you can’t redeem yourself, because Christ already did everything on your behalf. That means you’re free. Free to live, free to build, free to serve, free to love. And when a Christian feels lost, broken, and in need of forgiveness, they can go to church, talk to a pastor or priest, and leave knowing they are forgiven.

Islam, on the other hand, doesn’t offer redemption; it weaponizes guilt. Instead of providing salvation, Allah exposes you, holds your sins over your head, and threatens you with hellfire and torture in the grave. The Quran is a book of threats, it bullies Muslims into obedience through fear, humiliation, and punishment. So what happens when a Muslim seeks redemption? They try to be better Muslims. They pray, fast, give to charity, go on Hajj, do everything Allah commands. But it never works.

No matter how much you pray, no matter how much you try, the guilt never goes away. Because deep down, every Muslim knows it’s not enough. Allah always demands more. Allah loves those who die fighting against the infidels. That’s not an opinion, it’s in the Quran, in Hadith, in every lesson taught to children.

This is why Muslims, even the so-called “moderates”, always hesitate to condemn terrorism. Because they know jihad is required by Allah. They might not be willing to commit it themselves, but they can’t say it’s wrong. So when a Muslim fails to reach peace through religious rituals, they have two choices: Give up, stop being devout, and learn to live with the guilt, or commit to jihad, because that’s the only way to be true to yourself.

The Quran spells it out clearly: “Kill those who do not worship Allah or obey the Prophet” (9:29). So when a Muslim embraces this identity fully, killing infidels isn’t just justified, it’s joyful. It’s an act of saving yourself, obeying Allah, securing your eternity, finally escaping the crushing weight of guilt This is why a Muslim can stab a random Jewish person on the streets and feel nothing but satisfaction. Because for the first time in his life, he finally believes he has done something worthy of redemption.
