Pro-Palestinian Protestors Finally Cross the Line
Jews can be harassed, but police show no mercy when Hamas lovers rain on the gay parade.
It took five months, but we finally found an event Hamas supporters in this country are not allowed to ruin.
Eight pro-Palestinian protestors were arrested after storming onto the street during Saturday’s gay Mardi Gras parade.
So the police can act after all.
Not when protestors block city streets and obstruct local businesses.
Not when protestors squat in hotel lobbies harassing Jewish visitors.
Not when protestors chant, “Gas, er, where’s the Jews” (insert massive eye-roll) on the steps of the Opera House.
Not when imams openly call for jihad in Western Sydney mosques.
Not when protestors throw rocks at a Caulfield synagogue, causing worshippers to be evacuated.
But when protestors rain on an LGBTQ parade? Well, that’s where police draw the line. There are, evidently, some events that are sacrosanct.
Unacceptable
Media reports said the protestors “sparked chaos” at the Mardi Gras. That made me laugh.
The Hamas-loving, Jew-hating thugs haven’t seemed to spark chaos anywhere else.
Their ubiquitous presence seems to have been all but accepted as just one of those wonderful features of multicultural Australia.
You understand how multiculturalism has enhanced our land…
Exotic food.
Cutural festivals.
China Town.
Bearded Islamists urging an intifada.
Double Standards
Eight of the protestors now face criminal charges.
Idiots. They should have just yelled for Jews to be killed, and they would have been met with a shrug.
The charges included “use violence to cause fear” and “possessing a bright light distress signal in a public place”.
Wait. Give me a moment. I can’t type while I’m on the ground laughing.
Didn’t the Islamic mob baying for Jewish blood on the steps of the opera house cause fear? Police advised Jews to stay in their homes!
And didn’t they let off flares?
Are the steps of the Opera House not a public place? Were the flares insufficiently bright?
Maybe. Turns out local coppers were hard of hearing AND poor in sight.
Of course police were right to deal harshly with the thugs who disrupted the Mardi Gras. It just grates that the police seem far more eager to protect parading gays than persecuted Jews from the Islamic crazies.

Yes and Amen.
Yes and Truth.
Shame on this Government, Police local, State and Federal.
Sack Yasmin Catley.
Still smarting from being told they could not march in their uniforms in the parade I think the police were keen to prove that they really are the ‘good guys’ and could you please overlook that one rogue officer.
