Since 2018, Church and State (CAS) Conferences have been equipping Christians to fulfil the biblical mandate to be salt and light in our culture (Matthew 5:13–16).
Proverbs 14:34 teaches us, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” Without a doubt, Australia’s Christian values, such as the sanctity of life, family, faith, freedom, and centrality of faith in the God of the Bible, have led to one of the greatest countries in history.

As Dave Pellowe, founder of CAS, quotes French political philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville (1805–1859):

de Tocqueville’s insight is profound. His message is desperately needed today – especially for many Christians who have a limited understanding of how crucial Christianity is to seeing our culture flourish again and the gospel go forth in power and purity.
