Alaa Abd El-Fattah has endorsed mass murder, genocidal antisemitism, Holocaust denial, and open hatred of white people. And Keir Starmer couldn’t be more delighted at his arrival in the UK.

Keir Starmer is wrapping up 2025 by celebrating the arrival in the UK of a genocidal maniac who hates the British people and wants all ‘Zionists’ dead.

Alaa Abd El-Fattah, 44, is an Egyptian dissident and former political prisoner, and a darling of progressives for his anti-Israel, anti-Western rhetoric.

Though he has never lived in the UK, El-Fattah gained British citizenship in 2021 while still imprisoned in Egypt, thanks to his mother who was born in London.

Then, in September this year, after nearly a decade in prison, El-Fattah was granted a pardon by Egypt’s President, and with his travel ban lifted last week, the path was cleared for him to relocate to Britain.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer couldn’t be more thrilled, on Saturday tweeting, “I’m delighted that Alaa Abd El-Fattah is back in the UK and has been reunited with his loved ones, who must be feeling profound relief.”

“I want to pay tribute to Alaa’s family, and to all those that have worked and campaigned for this moment,” he added.

“Alaa’s case has been a top priority for my government since we came to office,” Starmer further explained. “I’m grateful to President Sisi for his decision to grant the pardon.”

A Symbol of the West’s Suicidal Empathy

X users quickly stormed Starmer’s comments section, questioning why the British leader was celebrating — and had worked so hard to secure — the release into the UK of a demonstrably dangerous man.

Many of the comments received more likes than Starmer’s original post. Dozens of them displayed screenshots of El-Fattah’s vile social media history, which include explicit endorsements of mass murder, genocidal antisemitism, Holocaust denial, open hatred of white people, and repeated calls to murder police officers and civilians alike.

Is there a more apt symbol of the West’s suicidal empathy — or a more fitting example of our broken immigration regimes — than Keir Starmer’s warm embrace of Alaa Abd El-Fattah?

The legacy media, which has long hailed El-Fattah as a “humanitarian” and “pro-democracy” figure, has been caught like a deer in the headlights with the revelation of his old social media posts.

Instead of facing the facts, however, the compulsively dishonest BBC ran with this tortured headline: ‘Starmer criticised for welcoming Egyptian activist’ — which has since been updated to ‘Egyptian dissident should be deported from UK, Tories say’.

El-Fattah is just an activist, you see.

And the news isn’t that he wants us all dead, but that the PM has been criticised. Poor Starmer.

Those nasty Tories.

Fortunately, X users got to work again, slapping the following community note on the BBC’s brain-rotting post:

Alaa Abd El-Fattah is more than an activist. He’s an extremely dangerous man who has said all Zionists should be killed, white people should suffer a genocide, called British people monkeys, fantasised about shooting Jewish weddings, said homosexuals need to be cured and more.

No wonder the political establishment is hellbent on destroying Elon Musk’s X.

It’s Time to Rethink Immigration

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, whom polls strongly suggest will replace Starmer at 10 Downing Street at the next election, swiftly announced that he had reported Alaa Abd El-Fattah to counter-terrorism police shortly after his arrival in the UK.

Just hours later, Farage announced that he had written to the British Home Secretary urging her to rescind El-Fattah’s citizenship and deport him.

As well he should have.

El-Fattah is about as British as the Pyramids of Giza.

He’s as British as Naveed Akram is Australian — that is to say, not at all.

Above all else that could be said about Keir Starmer’s latest viral embarrassment is this: You don’t become a Westerner by being granted citizenship of a Western nation, or even by living in a Western nation.

If you were born elsewhere, you become Western — British, Australian, American — by identifying as the loyal subject of your adoptive nation, embracing its laws and customs as your own, valuing its history and heritage, contributing to its prosperity and security, and placing its interests above foreign loyalties and ancient grudges.

Not wanting to genocide your newfound compatriots, in other words.

Is that too much to ask?
