Alison Sherrington
Alison J. Sherrington has degrees in Arts and Theology and has written the books Word and Spirit and True Womanhood.
Her experience includes secondary school teaching, hospital chaplaincy, and conducting seminars in churches. She founded Philip House, an interdenominational women’s organisation aiming to mobilise Christian women to be available to the Lord and to use their gifts to proclaim God’s word. Single dedicated women may join a small Philip House community for that purpose.
Alison’s background is Presbyterian and Anglican, and she now worships at Encounter Church (formerly Intenciti Church), Wynnum West, Brisbane.
