Mark Tapscott
Mark Tapscott is a veteran investigative journalist and senior congressional analyst at The Washington Stand, a publication of the Family Research Council. He is also the founding editor of HillFaith, a Christian apologetics ministry reaching congressional aides in Washington, DC.
Tapscott’s decades-long career includes roles as executive editor and founder of the Watchdog Investigative Group at The Washington Examiner, and editorial positions at The Heritage Foundation and The Journal Newspapers. He was inducted into the National FOIA Hall of Fame in 2006 and named Conservative Journalist of the Year by CPAC in 2008.
Earlier in his career, Tapscott held communications roles in the Reagan administration, including at the Republican National Committee and the US Office of Personnel Management.
