This week showed that we really are stronger together. As I wrote in September, no man is an island, and it’s heartening to see both men and women coming together to celebrate and support men and boys.

A big THANK YOU to the 64 dads, granddads and kids who joined us last weekend for the Dads4Kids Fun Camp. It was absolutely fantastic!!! Something amazing happens when dads get away from the everyday and create time with their kids.

Men’s health in Australia is in dire straits. On average, men in Australia die 5 years younger than women. Sadly, every day, 50 Australian men (under 75 years of age) and boys die from preventable causes.

The good news is you don’t need to break down on the Nullarbor Plain to enjoy an adventure or admire the heavens sitting by a campfire. If you’re near the South Coast of New South Wales, plan to join us at the upcoming Dads4Kids Fun Camp at Coolendel, 7-8 November 2025.

Words have power, especially when it comes to parenting. Used with thoughtful intention, words can build up and create. Used carelessly or worse, recklessly, they can tear down and destroy. One word that seems to have gone out of fashion is the ‘D’ word, Discipline.

Andrew asked pertinent questions, listened intently, and tapped into his vast experience to help me get unstuck, get growing, and get upgraded. He has a way of getting to the crux of an issue, and I’ll be forever grateful for his wisdom and counsel.

When it comes to fathering, sometimes it's two steps forward, one step back. Always remember, even if you get hit back a step after two steps forward, you’re still one step ahead from where you were before. Dads, keep on keeping on!

Dads4Kids' recent Men’s Leadership Summit was an incredible weekend of encouragement, practical training and peer-to-peer mentoring. We were inspired to stand fast in the faith, to be courageous and strong as men. In the company of great men, well, there’s nothing quite like it.

Today, I’m excited to announce Dads4Kids' latest Community Service Announcement (CSA) campaign, "Be The Best You Can Be", is going to air on TV networks all across Australia.

Please be assured as I take on the new role of CEO that the heart of Dads4Kids will continue to beat strong with fresh energy. I’m excited for all that God, our Father in Heaven, has in store for the big-hearted movement founded by the wonderful Warwick and Alison Marsh.

An 80s song sang, "Millions are looking for hope. Inch by inch, they come to the end of their rope". Be a man who commits to bettering yourself as a man and dad so that, one by one, we will build men, grow fathers, and change generations.

A man must discover his purpose. This is something every person must wrestle with at some point if they are to lead a fulfilling life. Your 'Inside' or 'Inner Man' will be so thankful that you did.

Being a man in 2025 might be more complicated than it was in, say, 1955. But history shows our forefathers faced enormous, often devastating challenges. Being a man is difficult and challenging—but maybe that’s exactly the point.

Australia’s children are the future of this great country. They’ll grow up to be the future dads and mums, the future workers, and the future leaders. All the more reason to invest in them now, while we still can.

Dads4Kids’ vision and mission to transform the nation by inspiring fathers to help their children be the best they can be is greater. By God’s grace, the work of Dads4Kids will continue, and we will see the tide of fatherlessness turn.

Everything all at once – when life and emotions happen all at the same time – can strike at the most inopportune of times. The tragedy of fatherlessness can feel like everything all at once, too. But Dads4Kids has a plan, a 'daddy cuddle' for Australia.

Dads4Kids and the Men’s Leadership Summit are deeply committed to helping all men stand for the better way, the masculine way. As the great Billy Graham said, “Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened.”
