Is climate change a catastrophe or is it a problem demanding a solution; is "Net Zero" the only answer; are renewables – like wind and solar – so reliable, clean, cheap, and secure; and if renewables are so cheap, why the heck is my power bill flying to the moon?

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has encouraged the West to make nation-states Christian again. Ayaan made the remarks in a scripture-rich 13-minute address at this year’s Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) forum in London.

I like a lot of what Glen Scrivener says about the place of Christianity at the ARC conference. I differ with him on some major issues in his video though, mainly with his take on David Brooks' speech.

In her address to the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference in Sydney on October 22, 2024, Komisar discussed the negative mental-health outcomes of institutional childcare in the early years, specifically from zero to three years of age.

ARC is taking the best of Western history – the worth and dignity of each person, responsibility rather than victimhood, religious freedom rather than thought control, and promoting that story as the better one for our future.

Birth rates across the West are plummeting, and our economies will suffer untold carnage in the years ahead — all because we have failed to assign value to the unseen work, that most important job of child-rearing. Still, we have an opportunity to turn this mess around.

While Jordan Peterson still shies away from the objective truth claims of Christianity — i.e., the resurrection and other historical and theological truths — he is increasingly willing to engage with thoughtful Christians on matters of culture, theology and politics.

We can only hope and pray that Jordan Peterson recognises that same “steady, unrelenting approach” as Lewis did, and comes fully into the revelatory Light of Christ that his Jungian lens cannot perceive.

The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) conference was more about inspiration and encouragement, fraternity and networking than anything.

To their credit, Baroness Philippa Stroud and Jordan Peterson’s first annual Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC) forum continues to hit hope home. But ARC has room for improvement.

Children are born neurologically fragile, not resilient. This means that they need “attachment security” early on if they are going to have a foundation for future mental health.

When I first heard of the think-tank and associated event, I thought that responsible citizenship sounded like the appropriate way to push back against the increasingly pervasive centralisation of power occurring throughout the West.

The ARC was a clarion call to rush the guards imposed by our woke elites and escape their totalitarian grip. Expert speakers constructed a vision for the future. Commonsense social and economic policy and pride in Western Civilisation broke out of the constraints of cancel culture

In front of 1500 conference attendees, I spoke about the recent referendum and the importance of moving on from victimhood and blame towards being a more unified country.
