Days of Holiness ~ Day 20: Most Holy Faith

20 January 2021

3.7 MINS

But you, my delightfully loved friends,
constantly and progressively build yourselves up
on the foundation of your most holy faith
by praying every moment in the Spirit.
~ Jude 20 (TPT)

We are taught by this scripture that there is a way we need to be building ourselves up, and it is built on our most holy faith. It is faithfulness to the Spirit of God, by praying in the Spirit. It may refer to praying in tongues, but also it can mean to pray as led by the Holy Spirit, so when we pray, we lean into the Lord and incline the ear of our hearts to hear what He is saying; and to pray by the means of the power He imparts.

The Holy Spirit wants to lead our prayer so that we pray according to what is happening in the Spirit realm. Our most holy faith is the foundation on which these prayers build us up, as we are praying the pleasing perfect will of God. This kind of prayer is building the Kingdom according to Heaven’s blueprint — and it also builds us up.

There are times in this battle for the unborn to be delivered from the evil of abortion, that we may grow weary or discouraged and may have little or no encouragement from others — but the Lord has provided a wonderful grace, as written about in Romans 8:26 (TPT):

“And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.”

Let Us Pray:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit at work in us when we pray. Lord, fulfill Your plans and purposes even in our weakness and frailty. Lord, let us remember to pray in the Spirit, moment by moment, so we remain built up in order to run this race, and win the prize of seeing the defeat and overturning of radical abortion bills throughout our nation.

Lord, we praise You for the gift of our most holy faith. We thank You that as Your people intercede, O Holy Spirit, You super-intercede through Your people. We welcome and honour Your presence — may we pause often during our day, and listen so we can intercede, joining in with Your effective lasting solutions to halt the mass destruction of the unborn.

We praise You Lord Jesus — You triumphed over our enemies at the cross. We apply the Precious Blood of the Lamb over the entire Termination of Pregnancy Bill 2020 in the SA Parliament, including its root from previous bills and all unholy alliances; and as one, we call for an immediate removal of any witchcraft and occultic power enabling it to become legislation. Lord, have mercy on the unborn, and bring deliverance from these evils in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Abundant grace to you as we continue in prayer and fasting according to Mark 9:29 ~

He answered them, “This type of powerful spirit can only be cast out by fasting and prayer.”

Points for Prayer ~ pray for:

  • South Australia’s Lower House politicians, that they be infused with truth and light for the sanctity of life – even of the unborn. Pray for a majority to vote no to this bill and take courage to defeat the Termination of Pregnancy Bill 2020 the week of Feb 3rd 2021.
  • The Walk for Life, February 6th 2021 in Adelaide, South Australia.
  • For our future generations to be rescued from the horror of death through abortion!
Let the spirit of adoption enter the hearts of those considering abortion,
to carry to full term and save their child’s life.
  • For greater numbers of believers in Jesus all over Australia and the South Pacific region to awaken to the battle and stand for life — to rise up in wisdom and courage to take action needed and speak for the voiceless.
  • For the church to become a haven of hope and help for those with unplanned pregnancies.

To send the intended influential message to our politicians
that South Australians DO NOT want legalised abortion up to birth,
we need thousands of people on the WALK for LIFE!

It will take each of us to SPREAD THE WORD through all our networks!
