Big Tech in bed with abortion lobby & LGBTQ: LifeSiteNews Banned by Facebook
Commenting on the news that Sexual Revolutionaries are bragging about getting LifeSiteNews banned by Facebook, Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., said,
“Now we know who decides on Facebook’s ‘community standards’: the National Abortion Rights Action League, GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign and Media Matters. Big Tech has become a willing servant of the Sexual Revolution.”
On May 4th, LifeSite was permanently deplatfomed. Three days later, Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL, took credit for the move on Twitter, claiming LSN spread “COVID-19 disinformation.”
“Is Facebook now the final arbiter on which scientific opinions are valid and which are not?” Morse asked.
“They’re engineers, not scientists. And when it comes to the scientific community, there’s no consensus. The CDC, WHO and Dr. Anthony Fauci are frequently at odds. How can a difference of opinion justify censorship?
“But ‘COVID disinformation’ had nothing do with what happened to LifeSite,” Morse said.
“The site is a powerful voice against the abortion lobby and radical LGBTQ agenda that had to be silenced.
“Since they can’t make the case for their cause, their first and last response is to scream ‘hate’ at the top of their lungs and censor their opponents whenever possible,” Morse charged.
“The only surprise here is their audacity in bragging about their success in silencing the opposition Stalin-style.
“Big Tech operates as an adjunct of groups like GLAAD and NARAL,” Morse said.
“In February, LifeSite was permanently banned from YouTube, even though its channel had more than 300,000 subscribers and averaged over 50,000 views on its main show.
“For Big Tech, it’s not about business or communications, but enforcing a rigid intellectual orthodoxy which will brook no dissent,” Mores explained.
“Family advocates must unite to end these abuses while we still have a voice.”
The Ruth Institute’s Censorship and Propaganda Resource Center documents how social media are riding roughshod over freedom of speech. This will also be discussed at the Institute’s 2021 Summit, “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family” July 16-17 in Lake Charles, LA.
