Actresses Traumatised by Nude Scenes are Both Victims and Perpetrators
“A spate of high-profile Hollywood actresses have recently revealed that appearing nude on screen traumatised them. But the Sexual Revolution promised that such anxiety could be eliminated if we were just ‘sex-positive’ enough. We were told that everyone would be happier if we would just overturn our antiquated taboos. The heartfelt cry of these actresses shows that this is simply not true,” said Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D.
These vocal actresses include Selma Hayek, Kate Winslet, Nicole Kidman, and Reese Witherspoon.
- Of her nude love scene in Desperado, Selma Hayek said,
“I started to sob and kept saying, ‘I don’t know that I can do it.’”
- Kate Winslet disclosed:
“I hate it… It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do… really sort of unethical if you think about it.”
- Nicole Kidman admitted:
“I felt very exposed and vulnerable and deeply humiliated… I was just lying there sort of broken and crying.”
- Of the sex scenes in the movie Wild, Reese Witherspoon confessed:
“I started to panic… I was just terrified.”
Morse responded:
“These aren’t vulnerable starlets but seasoned professionals. They wrongly thought their fame could insulate them from this sort of exploitation. Instead, the studios saw it as an opportunity to improve their profits by catering to base appetites.
“Often the nude scenes weren’t in the script but were sprung on the actresses while on set. Could they have refused? Of course. Could they have made these revelations sooner? I wish they had. But people are not at their most reasonable when they have been traumatised.”
The Ruth Institute has been a consistent and outstanding voice for the protection of sexual abuse victims, with interviews with several therapists specialising in their care, and providing platforms, such as The Dr. J Show, and the Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution, for the victims themselves.
“The ideology of the Sexual Revolution insists that feeling shame over nudity is one of those outdated taboos we should all strive to get over. This view is very convenient for persuading victims to silence themselves,” Morse explained. “Harvey Weinstein, a convicted Hollywood predator, is the tip of the iceberg.
“Hollywood is a classic example of the corruption of the professions in a sex-saturated culture — partly for profit and in part because they’ve bought into the ideology of the Sexual Revolution, like so many other professions. At the Ruth Institute’s Summit for Survivors of the Sexual Revolution, we’ll be talking about how education, medicine and law have been corrupted.”
The Ruth Institute’s 2021 Summit, “Reclaiming the Professions for Life and Family” will take place July 16-17 in Lake Charles, LA.

Rupert Lowe has just released The Rape Gang Inquiry Report. Occurring over decades, some 250,000 girls were raped, tortured, and abused, with some even killed. Yet authorities and the media covered up these diabolical crimes in the interests of not being 'racist' and 'Islamophobic'.
