Austria Plans Fines and Prison Time for the Unvaccinated
Soon it will be illegal to be unvaccinated in Austria, with fines and prison sentences planned for those who refuse to comply. Austria provides a chilling reminder that, given enough power, governments will make the individual’s body State property.
Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg announced last week that Covid-19 vaccination would soon be made mandatory for every adult citizen in his nation.
Beginning in February 2022, anyone refusing to comply with the mandate will face a €3,600 fine or four weeks in prison, according to a draft bill drawn up by the Austrian government.
Austria’s Nationwide Lockdown
From last week, unvaccinated adults in Austria have been placed under effective house arrest, allowed out only for essential reasons such as work, exercise, or shopping for essentials. According to the Epoch Times,
The rules … will be enforced by police officers who will be out on the streets carrying out spot-checks on people who are in public. Unvaccinated people are already excluded from entertainment venues, bars, restaurants, and similar venues and businesses.

Chancellor Schallenberg has more recently broadened the lockdown rules to include all Austrians for a period of 20 days in hopes of staving off a fifth wave of infections.
In recent days, tens of thousands of Austrians have taken to the streets of Vienna and other major cities to protest both the nationwide lockdown and the compulsory injections.

Worldwide Resistance to Statism
In scenes not witnessed since the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s and 70s, citizens in dozens of nations have turned out by the millions to call for a restoration of democracy and the rule of law.
Over the weekend, an estimated 500,000 to 1 million Australians marched through the nation’s major cities to call for an end to mandated injections and emergency powers.
Australian legacy media outlets knowingly underreported the turnout by claiming that only “thousands” or “tens of thousands” attended. Victorian premier Dan Andrews ironically smeared the peaceful protesters as “extremists”.
