Join the Canberra Declaration for 72 Hours of Live Praise, Prayer & Worship
The Canberra Declaration is organising 72 Hours of Praise, Prayer & Worship to God for Revival in Australia. You can join us on Zoom from midday Friday, 14 October to midday Monday, 17 October 2022 (NSW Time).
This time of prayer & worship will coincide with a live Prayer, Praise, Worship and Outreach event that Tony Baines is co-ordinating in Nimbin, NSW.
Partnering with Tony Baines over this period will create a practical and measurable focus for our prayers. We are believing for an influx of souls into the Kingdom and a spiritual breakthrough in Nimbin, which was the birthplace of the New Age Aquarius Festival in 1973.
Nimbin is a very small town, but it has arguably been a significant gateway point for demonic activity in our nation through perverted sex, drugs, music, the New Age, eastern mysticism, and witchcraft. The whole surrounding area of the Northern Rivers area including Byron Bay, Mullumbimby, Lismore, etc., has since 1973 become a springboard for all these activities.
Prayer can change this! As Alfred Lord Tennyson said, “More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of.”
The central prayer is for people to come to Jesus and find salvation! Watch Warwick Marsh explain the heart behind the 72 Hours in the video below.
Interestingly, it has been 49 years since 1973 when the New Age Aquarius Festival was launched. This, in Biblical terms, is the year of Jubilee and was the year of the Lord’s favour and the year the captives are set free. Let’s petition God for a breakthrough according to Matthew 4:6, “The people living in darkness have seen a great light!”
We will do live reporting between the event on Zoom and Tony Baines’ outreach and worship event in Nimbin.
- If you would like to join Tony Baines in Nimbin, phone him on 0418 752 841
- If you want to register for the online Zoom gathering, please do so at this link.
(Please note, if you are already registered for the 31 Days of Prayer & Fasting, you will receive notification of the 72 Hours of Prayer & Praise – there is no need to register again)
Revelation 5:8-13 gives us a beautiful picture of heaven coming to earth through 24/7 prayer and worship to God.
“Now when He (Jesus) had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honour and glory and blessing!”
There are just seven days until the 72 Hours of Prayer & Praise kicks off on Zoom midday Friday, 14 October to midday Monday, 17 October 2022 (NSW Time). We hope to see you there this time next week!
Yours for Revival Breakthrough,
Warwick Marsh, Cody Mitchell and Kurt Mahlburg
