Tulsi Gabbard Quits the Democrats Due to Woke Warmongers
Tulsi Gabbard has scorched the Democrat Party, declaring the party to be “under the complete control of an elitist cabal.”
The 2020 presidential candidate announced the surprise exit during the first episode of her new podcast, The Tulsi Gabbard Show.
Gabbard’s departure ends a 20-year membership with the Party of Woke, and the Army vet did not go quietly.
Destructive Democrats
True to form, the blunt-spoken former congresswoman described the Democrats as servants of “warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue, and stoking anti-white racism.”
She added,
“[They] actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms enshrined in the constitution, and are hostile to people of faith. They demonize the police, protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans.
“They believe in open borders, and weaponize the National Security State to go after political opponents.
“Above all,” Gabbard asserted, “they are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war. These are the main reasons I am leaving the Democrat Party.”
In the 28-minute video, Gabbard cited FBI raids targeting pro-life volunteers, the erasure of women, forced speech, the policing of thought, and the Biden administration labelling parents as terrorists for disagreeing with LGBTQ+ ideology being taught in their kids’ schools.
Background
Listing her woes and foes, The Guardian recalled that “Gabbard is a Hindu, was the first Samoan-American voting member elected to Congress, and had filled in for [so-called] ‘far-right’ Tucker Carlson for one show in August.”
The Guardian described Gabbard’s foreign policy as “favouring authoritarian figures disavowed by the Democrats.”
Noting her ties with right-wing Hindu nationalist Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, The Guardian reminded readers that Gabbard also clashed with Republican Senator John McCain over Syria, and was scolded by current Vice-President Kamala Harris in the 2020 candidate debates for ‘not calling the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad, a “war criminal.”
Importantly, Gabbard backed Joe Biden’s bid for the White House.
Realisation
However, the former Democrat reversed course, more recently condemning the Woke White House’s demonisation of MAGA voters as “domestic terrorists”.
The Hawaiian native slammed Biden, telling Sean Hannity,
“[Biden’s] essentially saying that this, ‘MAGA crowd’ are worse than terrorists. This is outrageous. And so, for every American who’s watching, every American who’s seen this, no matter how you feel about the MAGA crowd, this is an authoritarian assault on our freedom.”
This is a sentiment hammered home by her very public resignation, and coincides with her call for “every American to join her in standing up to cowardly politicians,” who have rejected the rule of law, and taken the United States to the brink of World War 3.
Possible Developments
The announcement has triggered widespread political speculation about a probable vice-presidential choice for any Trump 2024 run for presidency.
Although a DeSantis presidential run, or a Trump/DeSantis ticket seems more likely, a Trump/Gabbard ticket makes political sense.
Gabbard is a popular figure for a growing number on the centre-left who find themselves disenfranchised by the Democrats.
Her presence at events like CPAC, and her position on issues ranging from Putin’s war of aggression in Ukraine, to transgenderism and Islamist terrorism, have also reinforced Gabbard’s persona as a lovable adversary of the Right.
As a leader on the left, Gabbard is seen as someone with common sense, known for sharing the base values of the Founding Fathers, and, is, unlike many Leftists, willing to respectfully engage in talking points raised by the Right.
Gabbard’s centre-left presence as VP to a Trump presidency might be the right kind of medicine needed to mend a nation tearing itself to pieces, because of the current regime’s obsession with skin colour, intersectionality equity quotas, and colonising minds with far-left fascism’s Neo-Marxist murderous dogma.
