Day 18: Fight for the NEW
Intention
Receive by faith the anointing of His Spirit to ‘make all things new’
Scripture
Stop dwelling on the past. Don’t even remember these former things. I am doing something brand new, something unheard of. Even now it sprouts and grows and matures. Don’t you perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and open up flowing streams in the desert. (Is. 43:18)
The wilderness and dry land will be joyously glad. The desert will blossom like a rose and rejoice! Every dry and barren place will burst forth with abundant blossoms, dancing and spinning with delight…
Say to the anxious and fearful, Be strong and never afraid. Look here comes your God! He is breaking through to give you victory! (Is. 35:1)
Now if anyone is enfolded in Christ, he has become an entirely new creation. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold everything is fresh and new! (2 Cor. 5:17)
Reflection
The Lord has filled us with His Holy Spirit and declared streams of living water will flow from us. God is opening fresh streams in us and through us.
We are the streams of living waters, the Holy Spirit is flowing through into the barren places, bringing refreshing and making all things new!
The Holy Spirit in us is the stream of living water to revive us, so that the living water in us can refresh us and the world around us.
There are barren places in us and barren places around us. God is empowering us afresh to be the flow of living water to refresh our sphere of influence.
There is a new and fresh anointing to take us into a greater glory — ‘the fullness of salvation’, Paul the apostle calls it.
There is a refreshing and newness for us to re-enliven the reality of Christ in us, the hope of glory. There is a fresh flow of the Spirit to awaken us and revive us to be, ‘Born again, again’!
There is a call to receive fresh empowerment to rise and embrace living in the fullness of our identity. We no longer have the luxury of agreeing with the lies, the harassment, the sickness, the fear, the chaos and the storms of life the enemy has whipped up around us.
Rise in faith to declare, ‘Peace, be still!’
Rise and fight the fight of faith to enter the rest!
Rise and fight to be whom Jesus has empowered us to be.

Prayer
Lord, we ask for faith to embrace Your fresh anointing. We declare that we will rise to enforce the new revelations released in this new era.
We rise in faith: to live in the fullness of our identity in Christ, to live without compromise, to live separated from the mindsets of the world, to live in surrender to Holy Spirit and to live a lifestyle of holiness, power, and authority.
We pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
