Retired Navy SEAL: Transitioning Destroyed My Life
“The case of an ex-Navy SEAL, who lived as a woman for almost 10 years, highlights the transgender movement’s exploitation of the vulnerable,” said Ruth Institute president Dr Jennifer Roback Morse, PhD.
Chris Beck, a much-decorated former member of SEAL Team Six, became a poster child for the trans movement in 2013 when he announced he had “transitioned” to “Kristin.”
Now detransitioning, Beck says:
“I was very naïve. I was in a really bad way, and I got taken advantage of. I got propagandised. I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me. They knew what they were doing. I didn’t.”
Beck says all it took was one visit to a psychologist’s office to get a letter saying he was “transgender”, which started the process at a VA hospital, paid for by taxpayers.
All for Profit
Morse commented:
“So-called gender transitioning is both a fraud and a big business. Millions are being made by unscrupulous medical professionals and the pharmaceutical industry by exploiting those who are convinced they were born in the wrong body and can somehow change their sex.”
Beck warns:
“There are thousands of gender clinics being put up all over America. As soon as kids go in and say, ‘I’m a tomboy’ or ‘This makes me feel comfortable,’ and then a psychologist says, ‘Oh, you’re transgender.’ And then the next day, you’re on hormones — the same hormones they are using for medical castration… Now they are giving this to healthy 13-year-olds. Does this seem right?”
Morse added:
“This is all based on the lie of ‘gender identity’ — that if you identify with another sex, you can become that sex — with enough chemical and surgical intervention. It’s worse than absurd. It’s ruining lives. Bravo to Chris Beck for speaking out and warning others. If only more people would listen.”
