Sometimes to save a child, the Lord gives us dreams and sends His angels to help in situations that are life and death — situations which we, as humans, may not otherwise be aware of. Joseph, who was engaged to Mary the mother of Jesus, was one such person.

God told Him in a dream not to be afraid to marry Mary, as the child she carried had been conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20-24). Later again, Joseph is given a dream and an angelic visitation to direct him to flee to save the baby’s life.

“Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

Angels appeared speaking to people when they were in danger or had circumstances way outside their normal paradigm. God used these supernatural events to break limited thinking and to reveal revelation and wisdom that were directly from heaven to earth. Further examples include the angel announcing to Mary she was to have God’s Son even though she was a virgin, and the women at the tomb seeking to anoint Jesus’ body were told — He is risen!

We are in days when we need the supernatural intervention of God to send angels to rescue babies from certain death through abortion. We need men and women to have dreams and visitations, who will speak clear warnings, and direct into a path of life those who are contemplating aborting their unborn. We need multitudes to have Heaven’s help rather than listening to the world’s narrative — that narrative often comes from the thief whom Jesus said is a liar, who came to kill, steal and destroy. (John 10:10)

Today, let us ask the Lord for dreams for those who discover they have an unplanned pregnancy. Let them have dreams and angelic help to show the Lord’s way of escaping from aborting their offspring. For those finding themselves in often the hardest circumstances of their lives, we can pray asking for His angels to warn, rescue and help them. We can partner with Heaven to destroy the destructive plans of the enemy.

“And of the angels He says:

and His ministers a flame of fire.'”

Let it be on earth as it is in Heaven, with the Lord’s ministering spirits actively involved in the battle for the unborn to live, and be rescued from being aborted.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, we pray for Your heavenly help. We ask that more people who are being confronted with horrific decisions about whether to abort or not will have clear dreams and angelic visitations, showing them Your most excellent way to birth the child and to have the help they need. We ask for loving Christian homes to become available where the child can be adopted and raised.

Lord, send Your flames of fire to destroy any legal rights the enemy may think he has to kill the children — let Your heavenly hosts who worship You fulfil their God-given assignments over each little one, and that each of those little ones may fulfil Your plans for their lives. In Your precious love, flood the nations with Your truth and light to guide humanity into all truth about the horrors of abortion. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

• We pray for every state and territory of Australia to come together to stand for life! For hearts to be awakened and every Christian to rally to rescue the unborn as the church rises up to “Walk for Life Adelaide” on 11 February and “March for Life” Brisbane — date TBA, Mackay “March for the Babies” October, and for other states to join in and hold rallies or walks in their cities.

These three current Pro-Life Issues before Parliaments:

• Pray that the Human Rights (Children Born Alive Protection) Bill 2022 be passed speedily in 2023. This Bill will protect babies who are currently, in most states of Australia, being left to die after a failed abortion. This protection for such babies is currently law in New South Wales (2019) and South Australia (2021) as amendments to the state Termination of Pregnancy Acts. This Federal Bill, if passed, will make this legislation National. Pray for protection for the three Federal Senators Alex Antic (Liberal Party), Matthew Canavan (National Party) and Ralph Babet (United Australia Party) who presented this Bill on 30 November 2022.

• On 28 September 2022, the Federal Senate referred an Inquiry into Universal Access to Reproductive Healthcare (abortion) to the Senate Standing Committee on Community Affairs. This enquiry is all about broadening abortion access and entrenching it into federal law, possibly overriding state laws. Pray that the Lord stops this from occurring.

• The passing in South Australia of the Statutes Amendment (Loss of Fetus) Amendment Bill 2022. Presented by MLC Sarah Game (One Nation). This bill would acknowledge the loss of an in-utero baby due to a criminal act, such as assault of the mother or dangerous driving — offences in their own right. This Bill is about justice and recognition of a life lost. Sadly abortion is not recognised as a criminal offence, but this bill will for the first time recognise the personhood of the unborn child.

Pray that abortion will not increase in Australia. The ACT Government has announced it will provide free abortions from 2023. There are also calls for taxpayers to fund abortions nationwide, and for nurses to be allowed to give out abortion pills.
