CDC Director Rochelle Walensky assured the public that Covid-19 vaccines conferred immunity, even while admitting to ‘vaccine breakthroughs’ in private emails.

Bombshell documents released last week under a Freedom of Information (FOI) request reveal that a top United States health bureaucrat knowingly lied to the public about the failures of Covid-19 injectables.

On March 29, 2021, speaking on MSNBC, Director of CDC Rochelle Walensky infamously declared, “Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials but it’s also in real-world data.”

We now know that behind closed doors, Walensky admitted her claims were false.

Walensky was Aware of ‘Vaccine Breakthroughs’

Two months earlier, on January 30, 2021, Walensky sent an email to CDC colleagues acknowledging the problematic existence of “vaccine breakthroughs” — instances in which people injected with the Covid-19 product were indeed getting sick and carrying the Wuhan virus.

“Dear all, I had a call with Francis Collins this morning and one of the issues we discussed was that of vaccine breakthroughs,” she wrote in her email titled ‘Vaccine breakthroughs’.

“This is clearly and [sic] important area of study… Should we discuss? What is the best next step forward?” she continued.

Importantly, Walensky concluded the email by stating, “Francis is also discussing with Tony,” in reference to then director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Francis Collins and then director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Anthony Fauci.

A Public Disinformation Campaign

During the same period, as reported by the Daily Declaration, Collins and Fauci were using evangelical leaders to spread Covid propaganda, including to push for government vaccine mandates.

U.S. President Joe Biden, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla and business magnate Bill Gates were among the other high-profile leaders to publicly repeat the claim that the Covid-19 injectables would provide immunity to those who took them.

The latest revelation adds to a growing picture of Western governments using disinformation to persuade an already-fearful public into compliance with lockdowns and injection mandates.

The promise that the Covid-19 injectables would keep people safe from infection, transmission, hospitalisation and death was used to great effect in Australia’s states and territories, until Australians learned otherwise. As the double- and triple-jabbed fell ill, demand for the products plummeted and up to 20 per cent of the nation’s stockpile ended up in the bin, according to The Guardian.

Walensky’s Lies Go Viral

The revelation about Walensky’s dishonesty set social media platforms alight.

Stanford School of Medicine professor Jay Bhattacharya called the revelation “stunning.” He criticised Walensky for pushing injection mandates despite knowing the products did not confer immunity.

Bhattacharya also called out the CDC for “abusing its FOIA redaction privilege,” by concealing Walensky’s emails from the public even though they were not classified communications.

Footage of Walensky’s public lies from 2021 was re-circulated, garnering millions of views on Twitter.

A Loss of Trust in Public Health Institutions

Writing for the Washington Examiner, journalist Jack Elbaum mourned the loss of trust in public health agencies as a result of fibs like Walensky’s:

The Biden administration tried to impose a vaccine mandate on employers, thousands of people were fired from their jobs, and there was a time when unvaccinated people were not even allowed into restaurants in some of the country’s largest cities.

And it was all based on a lie.

There must be a substantive reckoning within our public health institutions and government more generally in the aftermath of the pandemic. From vaccines to masks to schools to economic aid, it seems that each aspect of the pandemic was accompanied by its own set of lies and distortions. There is a reason trust in our institutions has taken such a hit in recent years.

If those in charge do not, at some point, recognize what they did, commit not to do it again, and actually act differently next time they are in a similar situation, then institutional trust will continue to get worse.

Walensky, Collins, Fauci and other public health officials have greeted the latest revelations with silence.
