Woolworths or Wokeworths?
The gargantuan Aussie retailer Wokeworths is ditching Australia Day merchandise claiming poor sales. But we all know the real reason they’re waging war on our nation.
It seems that the woke corporates trying to control how Australians think are still not getting the message.
Australians don’t want to be preached at and don’t want to be dictated to about politics.
Especially not from a supermarket raking in massive profits.
But that’s what we’ve got with Woolworths deciding to ditch Australia Day merch, claiming it’s got to do with poor sales.
Rubbish.
Self-Loathing
You and I know that this has been a long-calculated effort by activists to undermine our national day because they hate Australia and want us to be ashamed of it.
If there have been poor sales, it’s because these activists have made it so.
And gutless leaders like Anthony Albanese have just stood by and let it happen.
In fact, they’ve practically encouraged it by allowing councils to stop holding citizenship ceremonies on January 26 and playing down or not attending celebrations themselves.
People, of course, are free to do whatever they want on January 26.
But let’s not pretend the people attacking our national day have our best interests at heart.
They’ve turned a unifying day into a political football.
And places like Woolies are backing them all the way.
Gratitude
For my part, I am proud to be Australian and proud to celebrate on January 26.
I’ll be doing what many Australians do – acknowledging how lucky we are to be in this prosperous, safe, beautiful country.
But I won’t be getting my BBQ supplies at Woolies.
They’ve made it clear where they stand.
And they’re not on our side.

Thank you for the article Senator Price. I totally agree that supermarkets should focus on selling groceries and stay away from woke agendas and politics as should other business and schools! There was some excellent commentry On Sky News Outsiders program yesterday by Liz Storer who was saying that Woolworths two
major shareholders are Blackrock and Vanguard. She believes these massive companies are mainly calling the shots and pushing this wokeness. This probably needs investigating more but is quite possible. Coles on the other hand are not a great alternative either as they push the rainbow agenda especially around Pride month. There are rainbow flags all over my local store during Pride month. Like you, I am sick to death of being preached to and feeling uncomfortable in these stores. I’m happy to boycott these stores as I hate all their cameras too but there isn’t much of an alternative where I live.

Here here Jacinta! I will certainly be flying the Australian Flag on Australia Day, because I love this country, and we’re blessed to live this beautiful land! All I can say is; “God bless Australia!”
Great article Jacinta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great article Senator Price. We are all blessed to live in this country & we should be grateful for all the wonderful things we have. Lets celebrate Australia on 26th January
Appreciate the article & the following comments. Thankyou.
I have shopped at IGA ( whose stores are owned by every day Australians ) ever since some years ago the ‘Fresh Food People “gave me Food Poisoning which landed me in hospital and nearly destroyed my kidneys because they sold me food which was months out of date ! Now they try to control our lives by waging war on “Australia Day ” and all signs of Aussie Patriotism. My message to Woolworths is “Go to Hell ! ” Woolworths is profiteering by over-charging and under -paying Australian producers. The Covid vaccine made me very ill and confined to home for the last two years . During that time the owner of the local IGA personally delivered food to me and never charged a delivery fee. I do not know how I would have coped without his help and that of the young man, owner of another business , who, tragically died of cancer leaving young children.
So refreshing to see this article and others having critical thinking, as Emmy pointed out companies owned by Blackrock and Vanguard are massive red flags, pushing the woke ideology is finally back firing, to blame poor sales without providing any proof, whilst constantly preaching at every day Aussies who they’ve ripped off, deceived (manipulating pricing, having fake or exaggerated discounts), ripping off poor farmers is appalling. The best thing is with the current industrial action Wokeworths was assuring customers they wouldn’t be impacted, while expecting customers to work in unsafe conditions and hit targets of 100%, minimising any stoppage time and toilet breaks, they’re down approx 50M but still won’t come to a fair agreement, I just hope their whole board gets wiped at the AGM due to all the pending lawsuits.
