Pacific Prayer Assembly: God Honours Faith
by Donny McGregor
Without about five weeks to go before the Pacific Prayer Assembly, I am reminded of how God honours faith. Following Jesus is really just the beginning of a journey. Learning to trust God is the next stage of that journey. Learning how to pray, learning how to listen to God. When it comes to taking a step of faith, God challenges us to come to a place where we learn to depend on Him.
Prayers of Faith in the Bible
Jesus and the Centurion
When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
“Lord,” he said, “My servant lies at home paralysed, suffering terribly.”
Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have You come under my roof.
But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.”“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” ~ James 5:15-16
When it comes to the Pacific Prayer Assembly, God is doing something that is so big that it is going to require Faith to believe it. Faith in God’s word, Faith in God’s answer to prayer before you see it. Faith in God’s provision and God’s Power.
As you pray and when you pray, do you believe in your heart about Who God says He is and what He can do? Faith equals action. Faith is risky — it is like Peter taking a step out of the boat.
Jesus said: all things are possible. He said, speak to the mountain, and it shall be moved.
It takes faith to pray and to have the confidence in God that He will answer, because that’s who He is. We put faith in who He is, His word, His power and so on. Pray for the Pacific Prayer Assembly, for Glory Revival Awakening Crusades. Pray for God to pour out His Spirit over Fiji and Oceania.
I am believing for God to do big miracles. I am believing for a great harvest. Jesus said: Ask and you shall receive.

How does the Bible help Christians disagree well with each other and with non-Christians? There’s much that could be (and should be) said. But for the sake of brevity, here are 9 points that have helped me enormously.
