The Pacific Prayer Assembly and Fiji Evangelism
by Alejandro Arias
We are living in an exciting time in history, where we are seeing the spirit of God moving all over the planet. In this critical time, the enemy is trying to unify his forces to fulfil his wicked agenda. No matter how dark the world is becoming, the light of Jesus will always shine brighter. It is in this moment in history when the church must unite and pray. We shouldn’t waste any time, as we have a great task ahead.
In May 1606, a Portuguese explorer by the name of Pedro Fernand de Quiros arrived under the Spanish flagship in what is known these days as “Espíritu Santo” Island. When he arrived at the Island, he staked the ground and made this declaration:
“From this land south and all there is in it shall be known as the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit.”
Over many decades, the church in Australia has taken that declaration as a prophetic statement for our nation. What many haven’t realised is that this declaration covered the Pacific Islands as well.
There is a prophetic bridge between the islands in the Pacific and Oceania. I believe the Lord is bridging all of the islands including our great Island. Australia has been connected historically, politically and spiritually to the Pacific region. Now, more than ever, God wants to bring Oceania together for the End Times harvest.
The Bible says that the gospel of the kingdom shall be known till the ends of the earth. What does the Bible mean when it refers to the uttermost parts of this world? When you look at the map and contemplate the distance between Israel and Oceania, I believe the Lord was talking about this land. That’s why it’s of utmost significance to pray, stand together and evangelise this great region of Oceania, so that together we can see God’s dream being fulfilled, and this land and all the islands will be filled with the Holy Spirit all over again.
One Body Coming Together
In the second and third weeks of October, several ministries, including our ministry, will come together in one spirit and with one goal in mind — to saturate with prayer and with the gospel the Pacific region, specifically the nation of Fiji.
We believe we are going to see a historic harvest of souls in Fiji in the month of October. Our vision is to hold three gospel crusades in three different locations in Fiji. We will saturate the schools, high schools and the streets with the Good News of the gospel.
Our strategy is to carry a transformational vision for a period of 40 days where we will pray, disciple, share and love on the people for 40 consecutive days in partnership with the ministry of 40 days of love. From 11 October through to 20 October, we will spread the love of Jesus and also pray for the city of Suva and for the Pacific region.
Together with the Pacific Prayer leaders, Generation Fire and the International Prayer Council, we will be holding a summit at the Vodaphone Arena from Thursday through Saturday. The prayer assembly will be one of a kind and very strategic as many Christian and marketplace leaders will be joining us from the region. The conference will be held from morning till the afternoon, with main sessions and breakout sessions.
Glory Awakening Tour
During the evening, we will culminate our gospel saturation strategy and finish the Fiji Glory awakening tour with a very powerful and significant gospel crusade. Together in partnership with a couple of evangelistic ministries, we will be celebrating a special gospel crusade, where we are praying and believing that thousands of souls will come to know Jesus.
We believe this is the time for Oceania to have a great awakening and for the waves of fire to come into the land and for the church to be awakened for this End Times harvest!

Evangelist Alejandro Arias was born in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1987. At the age of seven, he gave his heart to the Lord following his mother’s conversion. Just months later, their faith would be severely tested when it was discovered that Alejandro had a cancerous tumour lodged between his heart and lungs. Convinced that God had a destiny for his life in spite of the circumstances, he began to pray each day, believing God for his healing. When Alejandro was re-examined three months later, the doctors found that the tumour had miraculously disappeared.
Alejandro has travelled extensively, preaching the gospel to thousands of people around the world in more than 54 nations across five continents. Alejandro and Rebekah are blessed to see the doors God is opening all over the world. This is an exciting season, and they can’t wait to see what God has in store for the future. They are currently residing in the city of Orlando, Florida, USA.
Alejandro is the continental director of Pentecost 24 and also currently collaborates with the Go Movement as a facilitator of proclamation evangelism initiatives. He is also an evangelist associated with GNE of the Palau ministry.
He is also part of the GEA committee – the association of global evangelists under the direction of the “Empowered21” initiative. Alejandro has received several honorary doctorates and he has written three books. His ministry has taken the gospel across five continents in the last 25 years.

Thank you!
G’day Alejandro – thanks for this and the video !
Thank you Alejandro.
Wonderful plan !
I was born in Labasa (Vanua Levu) n raised in Suva (Viti Levu), Fiji.
Upon revisiting in the early 2020’s, I groaned in my spirit to see how our western materialism and doctrinal compromise had overtaken so much of society and church life there. (As with the rest of the West.)
I’ll be rejoicing to pray with this wonderful Gospel outreach !!
The people there are starving for truth and grace. As are we !
Our gracious Lord willing, many will recognise God’s truth and grace in the mighty Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and turn their lives over to our wonderful Saviour. 🙏
I will be there representing Canberra Declaration – if you are going please introduce yourself!
Thank you Pastor Alejandro,. God bless the pastors and leaders as you prepare for this great prayer gathering. May there be a great harvest of souls for God’s kingdom. We will also pray for 24/ 7 prayer houses to emerge in all 14 Oceania Nations! May God’s destiny be fulfilled in Oceania!🙏
