“Stranded” in Gaza — Mainstream Media Obfuscates the Truth
How CBS News reported on the rescue of a Yazidi sex slave.
There are so many knuckleheads in the progressive media.
Here’s a recent entry, from America’s CBS News.
See if you can spot what got my attention:
“A Yazidi woman kidnapped from her home by ISIS terrorists in Iraq when she was just 11 years old has been reunited with her family after years stranded in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, Iraqi and Israeli officials said Thursday.”
“Stranded”?
Why was she “stranded” in Gaza?
Did she miss her bus?
Let me guess. She was “stranded” in the company of “austere scholars”?
Terrible Reality
Fawzia Amin Sido was taken as a sex slave and held captive in Gaza, where she suffered a decade of sexual and physical abuse at the hands of a Palestinian she was forced to marry.
Sido was rescued by the Israeli military and returned to her family in Iraq last week.
She was incredibly fortunate.
ISIS kidnapped more than 6,000 Yazidi women who were sold as sex slaves and then traded between Islamic terrorists.
Most of them have never been seen again.
Just “stranded”, I guess.
It happens.

Sarcasm — So , Isis Terrorists are now to be called by the euphemism “austere religious scholars ” ! This unfortunate 11 year old was “stranded ” whatever that may mean ! (not kidnapped !) and used as a sex slave by “scholars” who were obviously ” studying religion ” by keeping her ? So , Israel is fighting a war for survival against ” scholars “, not against Terrorists. How the Truth is being manipulated by Western Media . Our society is as crazy as something out of “Alice in Wonderland “! Just wait ! This is just the beginning of what is in store for us in Australia with its new censorship laws, Envoy for Islamophobia and a Head for Social Cohesion.

James, thanks for highlighting what the Yazidis have suffered at the hands of ISIS.
Thank you James for exposing this horrendous act of cruelty. I had not hear of these women being captured and only knew of the girls and women in Afghanistan being at risk with ISIS but not those girls/women of Iraq…What you have revealed here is a monumental crime that should have been advertised and disseminated across the world.
The headline could/should be exactly what you wrote: “ISIS kidnapped more than 6,000 Yazidi women who were sold as sex slaves and then traded between Islamic terrorists.” The next part should be to note how this remains an international crime which should be stopped. The next would be to demand that the ISIS be made accountable for their acts. Then that the women be rescued (ideally be handed over)
It is incredible that the IDF have rescued this one young women and plucked her out of the lions’ den. No doubt this was also a risk for the IDF and it infuriated the husband i who had taken her as his wife at aged 11yrs.
May many more of these young girls and women be rescued as the IDF uncovers so much depravity and cruelty.
May God bless the IDF for caring enough to take this women away from a life of misery and sexual slavery…May many more of the 6.000 Yazidi women be rescued.
Those of us who have studied the IDF know their ethics are extremely high and laudable. The IDF are like no other army on earth as they are trained in Godly values and ethical standards. (Sadly, the mainstream media never lets us know these ethics. )
The IDF try to save every life they can and that has at times included wounded Hamas soldiers and earlier Hamas leaders were given top medical help right up until Oct 2023
One Hamas leader had a brain tumor removed by the doctors inside of Israel…he went back to Gaza and said ‘I can’t wait to kills Jews.’ That response by the Hamas leader showed his barbaric ethics in contrast to the care of the Israeli doctors who saved his life.
