Peter Dutton Has Taken a Stand on Sex and Gender — But Is It Enough?
Peter Dutton has affirmed the existence of two sexes — but also left the door wide open to gender activism.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has confirmed his position that there are “two sexes” during a media interview this week.
Speaking with Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell, Mr Dutton also reaffirmed the Coalition’s stance on gender policy ahead of the upcoming federal election, voicing his concerns about biological males competing in women’s sporting events.
Dutton’s remarks were prompted by questions about Trump’s presidency, including the US leader’s firm stance on biological truth and gender ideology extremism.
Having waited many years to stake out a clear position on sex and gender, Dutton regrettably stopped far short of committing to the reforms made by Trump.
Among his compromises are that the tripartite M/F/X gender designation will remain on Australian passports under a Coalition government, and that Coalition MPs will maintain their conscience vote on transgender issues.
More concerning, however, was the carefully-hedged language Dutton used when discussing sex and gender, which signals to the rank-and-file of his party that they have permission to stay shy on this most pressing of issues.
“I’ve been clear in relation to there being two sexes,” Dutton began — before adding “and a group of people, obviously, outside of male and female, a small group… who are intersex or indeterminate.”
Keen observers recognise that it is via this nebulous third category of “intersex or indeterminate” that gender activists poison the well and impose their radical agenda on an unsuspecting public.
The tactic? Exploit the experiences of intersex people — those who are born with physical traits that superficially defy normal biology — in order to erase the male-female distinction in its entirety, subvert traditional gender norms, propagandise younger generations, and impose a neo-Marxist political agenda on the whole of society.
Rather than calling out this manipulation, as this cultural moment requires, Dutton left the door wide open for its continued use.
Peter Dutton is Using Howard-Era Solutions for 2020s Problems
Worse still, the opposition leader played directly into activists’ hands by moving straight from sex to gender — echoing the very bait-and-switch strategy they rely on to advance their cause.
“And if you talk about genders,” he continued, “well people have different association… there is a different recognition that people have, and that is an issue for them.”
Dutton added, “I’m in the Howard mould of not being interested in what’s happening in people’s bedrooms. I’ve got no interest in people’s relationships.”
The “Howard mould” might have worked in the Howard era, but since that time, gender activists have taken their ideology from the bedroom into every aspect of society — whether school curricula, sporting policies, gender-neutral toilets, drag queens in public libraries, DEI employment practices, census and data collection, TV and film, child protection and family law, or the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.
Indeed, there is scarcely an aspect of contemporary Australian society untouched by neo-Marxist influence.
Peter Dutton is using early-2000s solutions for mid-2020s problems — and it shows.
“I want to be a prime minister for our country,” Dutton continued, “and I want to make sure that we’ve got policies that work.”
Mr Dutton, respectfully, if you want to be Prime Minister, please read the room.
Everywhere you look — the WPATH scandal, the Cass Review, the Trump reforms, the Queensland government’s pause on child castration, and even Labor’s belated call for a review into “gender affirming care” — neo-Marxism is in retreat, and common sense is back.
Standing up for women in sport is good, but its far from enough.
Don’t just feed on the scraps of Trump’s courage.
Find your own — and the nation might just stand behind you.

Pentrating article about a lack of good leadership by Peter Dutton!
great observations Kurt…Peter Dutton and many in government deficient in right position on a number of critical issues
Oh, PLEASE, Mr Dutton – don’t pander to certain factions in the Liberal Party re the gender issue. DO what is RIGHT, not what may be “popular” with some people or groups. The vast (silent) majority want leadership, not prevarication. I think you’re better than that – but if you want to be the next Prime Minister – convince those who are yet to be convinced that you will stand firm on contentious issues.
Can’t stand Peter Dutton who is no Trump, but, will implement in full the Globalist “Agenda 2030 “, Facial ID Recognition, Social Credit System + voted for Hate Speech (= Censorship ). Under him more Mass Migration of persons who hate us , our culture + Jewish or Christian religions.Albanese + Dutton = Tweedle Dum + Tweedle Dee ! I am worried AUKUS too expensive + too late. Are submarines the most effective means of defence ? Would have Fighter Jets , Long Range Mssiles + Drones have been cheape, more effective and be ready sooner ? Danger now , not in 2040s, but, before that Australia will be Islamic country ! Chinese Navy doing Live Firing causing plane routes from Australia altered.
Heavenly Father let there be one you have chosen who will stand shoulder to shoulder with your servant Donald in boldly declaring the word of truth without comprise. Not about the election but about your truth your way your life infusing Australia with your agenda. Amen
